DATA ANALYSIS IDENTIFYING INFORMATION Activity Title ACR on the conduct of SMEA Data Analysis Date June 24, 2022 Venue Inayupan Elementary School Participants’ Description All teachers of Inayupan Elementary School, School Head ACTIVITY Description Data analysis is a process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data with goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making. The conduct of quarterly data gathering through PROMEDS tool is the most basic activity for every school in order to harness data-driven results that are reliable for analysis purposes. For Inayupan Elementary School, it was found out that there was an alarming result in numeracy and reading performance of the learners during the school level Pre-test assessment and the Quarter 4 SMEA of 2021 (1 st Grading period for SY: 2021-2022) data gathering. To address this issue, an intervention/ innovation was conceptualized, entitled, Project NeNWRI (New Normal Way of Remedial Instructions). This project was implemented last October 2021 and will commence in July 2022. Since, the implementation of the said intervention/ innovation is almost ending, so, the school conducted a SMEA Data Analysis using the Quarter 3 PROMEDS (4 th Grading period of SY: 2021-2022). Objectives 1. To determine the extent of success / failure of the intervention/ innovation implemented. 2. To agree on recommendations to be undertaken as follow- up activity for the said implemented intervention/ innovation. HIGHLIGHTS During the SMEA Data Analysis, it was found out that there was a significant increase of the school’s performance in numeracy from 48% to 100%, thus attaining a zero percentage non-numerates. In reading (Average of both English and Filipino) on the other hand, got an increase from 44% to 95%. RESULTS Achievement of Objectives So, therefore, after the project implementation, the school’s performance level in numeracy was increased from 48% to 100%, while the reading level increased from 44% to 95%. Participants’ Feedback The learners were happy of the results and gained more self- confidence and interest toward studies in the next grade level.
