Mounting Information Back in 1986 a new breed of hard rock player was on the rise. To meet the Diameter 12.2in/309mm demands of the players and their increasingly 'hot-rodded' amplifiers we Magnet structure diameter 6.1in/156mm set out to develop a modern guitar speaker capable of handling much more Mounting slot dimensions Ø 0.31in/7.9mm power and overdrive. To achieve this we coupled our 'H' magnet (the closest Mounting slot PCD 11.7in/297mm in performance to Alnico) with a new cone and voice coil employing Number of mounting slots 4 contemporary materials. Our most revealing speaker the Vintage 30 Overall Depth 5.3in/135mm features enormously detailed and complex overtones a warm low-end a Cut-out diameter 11.1in/283mm Unit Weight 10.4lb/4.7kg famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top-end. Used singly to reveal the complexities in hand- wired boutique amps or in quartets for a wonderfully intricate vintage 3D crunch the Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings from a diverse range of notable players including Slash Steve Stevens and Peter Frampton.
