Our new topic for this morning is about the


types of adverbs.
But first let’s define what is adverb.

Adverbs are words that modify a verb,
an adjective and another adverb

Identify the verb in the sentence below

come in the form of an adverb phrase .

there 5 types of adverbs you should familiarize


yourself with: ADVERBS OF DEGREE,
FREQUENCY, MANNER, PLACE AND TIME. With
these categories under your belt, you’ll be well-
positioned to identify several different parts of
a sentence.
Adverb of degree it tell us the degree
or extent to which something happens.

main verb in the sentence.

at the beginning or end of a sentence.

The best way to find adverb of time is to ask
when will you tell the story. The example is
