I. Executive Summary
AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR BUSINESS IDEA (ONE OR TWO SENTENCES) .

School Skrrtplies, an upcoming business run by Group 2, is a traveling store that sells school
supplies and snacks throughout Bulacan that provide students, teachers, or whoever is in need of such a
reliable, efficient, and easy process to acquire these materials without having to go to the store yourself.
School Skrrtplies plans on helping the locals by making it easier to purchase stationery tools and
equipment, expanding to grow our business and assist more Filipinos who are troubled by situations
where they lack the required educational resources, collaborating with different schools and learning
centers to provide them and their students with the needed supplies.

A DESCRIPTION OF YOUR PRODUCT AND/OR SERVICE.

School Skrrtplies provides a delivery service of transporting school supplies to schools, offices,
and even people walking down the street by driving around the city. The service will enable and help
people to go about their daily lives stress-free and with ease knowing that the resources and materials
they need will be there when they need them. The business has a very distinctive and unique selling
point which is we sell our products on wheels, on the go, and we get our goods around the city faster
than other businesses. We also plan on collaborating and working with the schools of Bulacan to make
the process of delivering our products easier and more efficient. Our business is very handy and
important because it provides this generation’s students and workers with the recommended and
required materials for learning and working.

YOUR GOALS FOR THE BUSINESS. WHERE DO YOU EXPECT THE BUSINESS TO BE IN
ONE YEAR, THREE YEARS, FIVE YEARS?

In a year, the team expects to be increasing the percentage of sales of the products we provide
with our service, maintain the profits of the business, invest our earnings wisely, expand the area that
our business covers to the different parts of Malolos, and increase the number of vehicles we use for
our delivery services. We also plan on hiring employees and spending time to better the quality of our
services and employee behavior. Lastly, in a year, the business hopes to make the most out of the work
we do, not waste time or resources on unneeded and unnecessary actions that might hinder the progress
we make. Three years after the launch of our business, we expect more income and higher sales from
our service, quality products and better service upgraded by the profits of our work, and to be operating
throughout the different cities of Bulacan. We look forward to being able to save time and energy on
the projects, services, and jobs we provide.

The business is expected to be more well-known, possess more delivery vehicles, possibly
establish a headquarters, and lastly, more manpower with proper training. In the fifth year, we expect to
have succeeded in our work, grown more as a team and a business, helped the Filipino community the
best we can at that time, and inspire others to believe in their dreams of making it big and succeeding in
life.

YOUR PROPOSED TARGET MARKET. WHO ARE YOUR IDEAL CUSTOMERS? - WHAT
PROBLEMS ARE YOU SOLVING FOR YOUR TARGET CUSTOMERS?

School Skrrtplies aims to be of service to students and teaching staff in schools in Malolos,
Bulacan and hopefully expand to more places in the future.. For our ideal customers, the reason why
we choose to specifically target students is because of the vast majority that are in need of stationery
items and learning resources. With the services we provide, problems such as deadlines and lack of
materials. We make the lives of the educators and the educated trouble-free and undemanding since we
bring the products to them. School Skrrtplies also aims to partner with schools to make our
transportation and delivery processes more efficient and time-saving.

YOUR COMPETITION AND WHAT DIFFERENTIATES YOUR BUSINESS. - WHO ARE

YOU UP AGAINST, AND WHAT UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION WILL HELP YOU
SUCCEED?

Our business competes with ordinary school supplies stores that set up in a specific area. We
expect to blow the competition out of the park with our business’ methods and techniques. School
Skrrtplies’ main factor that makes us different from other businesses is that we travel to our locations to
deliver and sell our products in order to make it convenient for out consumers. The business believes
that our delivery service of stationery items and learning equipment will take the public by surprise and
shock the public due to it being a new business idea.
FINANCIAL OUTLOOK FOR THE BUSINESS. - IF YOU’RE USING THE BUSINESS PLAN
FOR FINANCING PURPOSES, EXPLAIN EXACTLY HOW MUCH MONEY YOU WANT,
HOW YOU WILL USE IT, AND HOW THAT WILL MAKE YOUR BUSINESS MORE
PROFITABLE.

Our business is looking for around P200,000-P250,000 to start up our service. The money will
be divided into buying a vehicle, school supplies, snacks, and the remaining capital will be used for our
vehicle’s gasoline. The team will also allot some of the money to go into advertisements to gain
attention towards our business to help boost its popularity. Since we are spending the money on buying
products, we’ve decided to up the price of these items by roughly 20% of their original price in order to
see profit in our sales. This 20% markup on our products will be the reason for our income and why our
business will start to profit.

PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITY: EVERY BUSINESS NEEDS TO SOLVE A PROBLEM THAT

ITS CUSTOMERS FACE. EXPLAIN WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND HOW YOUR
PRODUCT OR SERVICE SOLVES IT. WHAT ARE ITS BENEFITS, FEATURES AND
UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION?

We people are sometimes forgetful, so our business may be useful in that if you forget
something, you can simply schedule and purchase the products you require, as well as order various
foods if you feel hungry. Our company can also help to reduce COVID cases by allowing you to book
and purchase items on your phone rather than walking into a physical store.

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS AND PRODUCT: DESCRIBE YOUR PRODUCT AND/OR

SERVICE. WHAT DO YOU SELL, AND HOW IS IT MANUFACTURED OR PROVIDED?
Our organization travels across the city providing supplies and snacks to various houses,
schools, and offices in an effort to better the daily lives of those who require goods for work, school, or
even their homes. Our organization sells school supplies such as ballpens, pencils, paper, and erasers. It
also sells food and beverages like biscuits, sandwiches, and ready-to-drink juices. Our products are
supplied by MAR Merchandise from Binondo, Manila. and our snacks are supplied by various grocery
stores.

COMPANY GOALS AND MILESTONES: SPECIFY YOUR LONG AND SHORT-TERM

GOALS AS WELL AS ANY MILESTONES OR BENCHMARKS YOU WILL USE TO
MEASURE YOUR PROGRESS.

Our company's short-term and long-term goals are to assist clients with their needs and to
provide them with the highest quality school supplies possible for the school supplies they require. Our
company also hopes to expand so that we can travel to different areas and hire more delivery riders so
that we can meet everyone's needs more rapidly.

III. Market Opportunity And Strategy

School Skrrtplies doesn't always travel smoothly. Our company has its bumpy roads as well. As
a team, School Skrrtplies creates its alliance to resolve anything that comes our way.

BARRIERS TO ENTRY
As our inflation rate continues to rise, costs of stationery items become expensive. We have put
into thought that our target markets are mostly students and school staff that is why the market price of
our products must be fit for their daily budget. What's difficult is that even though we will adjust the
price of the supplies to become cost-effective for our consumers, we have to simultaneously aim to
profit more than what we have spent. To overcome this barrier, our company has thought of initiating
free shipping for our customers for a limited time while the business is in its early startup.

As a startup business with only one vehicle to begin with, managing our time as our customers
demand and acquire our service would be difficult. Handling a business with one delivery mobile will
be complex for there will be a risk that the delivery of an item will be delayed. We plan to lower this
risk by creating and releasing a schedule for our daily route around the city, therefore our customers
know where we are when they need us.

KEY COMPETITION
There are few school supply stores in Malolos, Bulacan like Pandayan, Expressions, and Office
Warehouse. In saying this, competition is quite limited.

Our team deliberately made sure that we stood out from our competition. Our main difference
with other stores is that we are on wheels; instead of the buyer going to the store, the store goes to
them. This plays a big role in our objectives for our business for we aim to save the time, energy, and
money of our consumers. We also sell to-go snacks for students after class. Our competitors don’t
provide such things today.

MARKETING/ADVERTISING STRATEGY
Aside from the fact that our service occasionally roams around the City of Malolos, other ways
that our company will make our business known is to advertise by means of different social media
applications such as Facebook and TikTok. Just like any other businesses today, we will make use of
starting an official Facebook page and posting ads to promote and let people know about our service.
To keep up with the trend, our team decides to join the platform, TikTok, and create a 15-second long
entertaining advertisement. There are many Filipino users in the application so we figured it would be
great exposure for our rolling store.

IV. Sales And Financials

In the consumer market, it is important to maintain the prices of your products and services at a
level that will provide a good return on investment for your business. At the same time, you need to
consider the availability of the products that you offer to your customers and ensure that you can get
your desired products and services at a reasonable price. You also need to ensure that you can provide a
consistent service to your customers over time to ensure that they continue to rely on your business.
The traditional pricing structure for school supplies and snacks in business is a fixed price based on a
specific price that the supplier sets for the product or service that you provide to your customers. This
pricing structure works well for a product that is delivered regularly to a specific customer base or
group of customers. However, if you are a supplier of supplies that are used in multiple different types
of businesses and organizations then you will need to use a more flexible pricing structure to ensure
that you can provide your customers with the supplies they need at a reasonable price.

Cost Structure of the Product

Your cost structure will affect the price that you charge for your product or service. The cost
structure is defined by how the cost of the production of your product is allocated to different
components of the cost of the product, including labor, materials, transportation costs, and so on.

HOW DOES YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE FIT INTO THE COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
IN TERMS OF PRICING—ARE YOU ON THE LOW END, MID-RANGE OR HIGH END?
HOW WILL THAT PRICING STRATEGY HELP YOU ATTRACT CUSTOMERS?

Low end

School Skrrtplies is on the low end because our products don't cost too much. Our prices range
from ₱8.00 to ₱294.00 which are considered low-priced products.

Pricing Strategy

The pricing for our products will be based on its supply cost like the cost of material and its
packaging. Since our business is just starting, we’ve thought of offering a free shipping to everyone for
a month to gain acceptance from the customers as a market testing. Our team will cover the expenses
for the shipping fee for a month. After a month, the customers will be required to pay for a shipping
fee, depending on their location.

START UP COSTS AND PROMOTIONAL BUDGET:

We will order 150 each of school supplies whenever our supply is below 30. Most likely, we are
about to spend ₱110,000 for all of the school supplies. Then, for our snacks, we will resell 50 packs of
chips, biscuits and nuts. In our snacks, we are about to spend around ₱14,000 per month for restocking.
But whenever our products go out of stock, we will restock as early as possible even though it’s not our
time to restock yet.

To promote our products, we will be using social media. We will allot ₱10,000 in order for us to
boost our posts in our social media accounts, so that our promotion will reach more people. When our
business gets popular, we will lessen to boost our posts and we will just promote it without spending
money, since people are already familiar with our products. This is the easiest way to promote a
starting business since social media is very popular nowadays and almost all people have social media.

HOW MUCH DO YOU PLAN TO SPEND ON STARTING YOUR BUSINESS? HOW MUCH
DO YOU PLAN TO SPEND ON MARKETING AND ADVERTISING?

Our team is planning to spend around ₱200,000 to ₱250,000. The vehicle that we are going to
use costs ₱85,000. The remaining capital will be used for gasoline (for the vehicle) and also the
supplies for our snacks and school supplies which will be around ₱120,000 to ₱135,000. For marketing
and advertising, as stated previously, we are planning to spend around ₱110,000 for our school supplies
and around ₱14,000 per month for snacks. We applied around 20% mark-up on our products and that
will serve as our income. We will allot ₱10,000 to boost our posts on social media and our team will
create a poster that can be used for promotion instead of paying for other’s service to do it. Those
posters will be offered to the people who pass by our vehicle.

V. Management And Operations Plan

PRODUCTION

As our business is a service designed to deliver school supplies and snacks, the service will be
using vehicles to operate as our mode of delivery. In the launch of our business as this is still only a
startup, we will be using motorcycles with an extended side cart along with a few of our own
modifications to make the vehicle more suitable for our service. Looking forward, as the business
grows we are hoping to upgrade our vehicles, not only in quality, but also in quantity for the further
improvement of our delivering service.

Concerning the products to sell in our business, the resources that we are to provide are the
following:

-School Supplies (Notebooks, Pencils, Ballpens (black, red), Index Cards, Markers (white board,
permanent), Highlighters, Erasers, Pencil Sharpener, Glue, Folders, Graphing Paper, Bond paper (long,
short), Construction Paper, Cartolina, Ruler, Protractor, Correction Tape, Manila Paper, Puncher,
Calculator, Tape, Quiz Pad, Crosswise, Lengthwise, Intermediate Pad.)

-Snacks (Chips, Biscuit, Nuts, Bottled Water)

These were carefully selected by our team in terms of consumer necessities and what we think
would give us the best chances to grow our business at an attainable and reasonable rate whilst also
being reasonable to our buyers. The resources will be kindly supplied by our suppliers, MAR
merchandise for our school supplies and local grocery stores for our snacks.

QUALITY CONTROL

In our service, there are 2 main things we consider to maintain our quality and consistency. The
first is our time management and scheduling, since we are a delivery service, time is of importance, if
we were to consider the amount of buyers that would order from our service it would be a hassle to take
numerous orders at a time. On that account, our team has considered the method of first come, first
serve to maintain smooth and organized transactions to avoid complications in orders. Moving forward,
the second thing is the quality of supply, as a business of course we would always strive to bring the
finest products to sell for our consumers. Currently, the suppliers we’ve chosen have shown us the
quality of their products through our own personal research and commitment to them. If ever there
comes a time that we are not able to propose a mutual agreement with them considering the supplies,
we’ve also thought of a contingency plan just in case.

LOCATION

School Skrrtplies is a business service on wheels, so it does not have an indefinite place that it’s
located. It travels from different points primarily in Malolos & Guiguinto in Bulacan for the meantime.
Although it does not have a set place, our team has thought of a schedule where our service can be
located in a week while we’re not delivering. Shown below is a possible schedule for our service
vehicle/s.

Drafted Example:

Time Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

6:00-7:15 am School 1 & School 3 & School 7 & School 9 & School 11 Somewhere Somewhere
2 4 8 10 & 12

Delivering

3:00-5:00 pm School 1 & School 5 & School 7 & School 9 & School 11 Somewhere Somewhere
2 6 8 10 & 12

In the future, these schedules will be changed to accommodate different potential vehicles to
reach more places in a more efficient manner to improve service and time management. What’s more,
as the reach of our business widens this would help our business be in order.
