This certificate does not allow to issue the Declaration of Conformity and to affix the mark of conformity (wheelmark ) to the products corresponding
to this type. To this end, the production-control phase module (D, E or F) of Annex B of the Directive is to be complied with and controlled by a written
inspection agreement with a notified body.
This certificate remains valid until the date stated above, unless cancelled or revoked, provided the conditions indicated in the subsequent page(s) are complied with
and the product remains satisfactory in service. This certificate will not be valid if the applicant makes any changes or modifications to the approved product, which
have not been notified to, and agreed in writing with BUREAU VERITAS. Should the specified regulations or standards be amended during the validity of this
certificate, the product(s) is/are to be re-approved prior to it/they being placed on board vessels to which the amended regulations or standards apply. BUREAU

4. APPLICATION / LIMITATION:
4.1 - These portable extinguishers may be used for :
• Types P6, P9, P12 : Fire Class 233 B and C ; operating temperature range : - 20°C to + 60°C
• Type P6P : Fire Class 34 A, 233 B and C ; operating temperature range : - 30°C to + 60°C
• Types P6P 43A; P9P : Fire Class 43 A, 233 B and C ; operating temperature range : - 30°C to + 60°C
• Types P9P 55A; P12P : Fire Class 55 A, 233 B and C ; operating temperature range : - 30°C to + 60°C

4.2 - The equipment is to be installed according to manufacturer's instructions.

4.3 - Manufacturer's instruction for maintenance and recharging should be kept on board.

5. PRODUCTION SURVEY REQUIREMENTS:

5.1 - This certificate alone does not allow the applicant to issue the Declaration of Conformity and to affix the mark of
conformity (wheelmark) to the products corresponding to this type. To this end, the production-control phase module D
"Production Quality Assurance" or E "Product Quality Assurance" or F "Product Verification" of Annex B of the Directive is to
be complied with and controlled by a written inspection agreement with a Notified Body.
5.2 - Each equipment intended to be fitted on board a ship registered to a National Register adhering to the Directive shall be
delivered with a Declaration of Conformity, including the setting valve report, if applicable, which shall be signed by the
manufacturer.

6. MARKING OF PRODUCT:
As per IMO Resolution A.951 (23), paragraph 8 and the provisions of the Directive:
1 - Model designation:
2 - Manufacturer's name and address
3 - Type of fire for which the extinguisher is suitable
4 - Type and quantity of extinguishing medium
5 - Propelling gas : CO2
6 - Instruction for use and recharge
7 - Temperature range over which the extinguisher will operate satisfactorily
8 - Test pressure
9 - Markings as per MED 96/98/EC:
¤ YYYY/XX where YYYY is the number of the Notified Body undertaking surveillance module (when BV, 0062)
and where XX are the last two digits of year mark affixed.

7. OTHERS:
7.1 - This approval is given on the understanding that the manufacturer will accept full responsibility for informing shipbuilders
or their sub-contractors of the proper methods of fitting and general maintenance of the approved equipment and the conditions
of this approval.

7.2 - This certificate supersedes the EC Examination Certificates N° 09071/C1 EC (Type P9P) issued on 9 Oct 2009, N°
09079/C1 EC (Type P6) issued on 3 Apr. 2013, N° 09080/C1 EC (Type P6P) issued on 3 Apr. 2013, N° 10106/C1 EC (Type
