BUSINESS WIZARD

INTRA-DEPARTMENT COMPETITION

BBA
EVENT 1:

RECYCLE MANIA (BEST OUT OF WASTE)

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 Only team of 2-4 people is allowed


 No one can use internet or any other source of information.
 Make an innovative and useful product out of waste that include
household waste, stationary waste, etc. The product should be
innovative and new
 Product will be judged upon Creativity, Innovation, Explanation and
Maximum use of utility.
 Material has to be brought by the participants
 Participants have to sell their product at a good price in the campus
area. Profits can be taken back by the participants
 The winners of the event are decided based upon the extent of creativity
imparted in the making of the product, quality of the marketing strategy
used, the number of items sold and finally, the amount of money that
each team made.
 Winner will get an interesting gift and a certificate

EVENT 2:

SKETCH IT OUT (LOGO DESIGNING)

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 Individual participation only.


 Students have to draw a logo of given company. The company will be
given on the spot only.
 The design of logo should be unique.
 Mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
 The logo should not include any slogan or national symbol.
 Time limit = 30 – 40 mins.
 A4 sheets will be provided.
 Students have to bring colors on their own.
 The winner will be decided on the basis of their drawing skills.

EVENT 3:

RURAL-LE-CARTE

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 Only team of 2-4 are allowed


 The participating teams would select a bouquet of products from a list
which are coming from rural areas.
 They need to prepare a marketing plan, including the branding and sales
promotion strategies.
 Teams are given 20 minutes to prepare for the topic
 Participants are evaluated based on their presentation, innovation and
their ideas.

EVENT 4:

INVESTOPEDIA

 Only team of 2-4 students are allowed.


 The team gets an amount as an initial investment. The amount will be
disclosed only during the event.
 The teams are expected to start a virtual company and come up with a
product or service with the initial investment that they can sell and
make a profit on.
 Teams are given 20 minutes to prepare.
 Participants are evaluated based on their budgetary control, efficient use
of the amount and ideas.

EVENT 5:

BLEEDING EDGE (STARTUP TALKS)


RULES & REGULATIONS:

 It is an event to showcase your talent of generating new business ideas


with innovation and technology in addition with your passion.
 Project idea topic must be related to any growing research area of
management and economics field.
 The minimum number of students in team would be 2 and maximum
could be 3.
 Each team will be allotted with only 10 minutes for presentation.
 Time for presentation must be strictly followed.
 Marks will be reduced if the timing exceeds.
 Students must carry and are responsible for their pen drives.

EVENT 6:

MOVING AND GROOVING (ROLE PLAY)

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 Only team of 2-4 students are allowed.


 The participants will be put in the shoes of a Logistics Manager, and
asked to take over the operations of an existing supply chain.
 The participants have to optimize their production according to demand.
 In subsequent rounds, A company and industry profile will be given
along with the working capital.
 The participants will have to manage their cash, production, and
inventory, keeping in mind the various constraints that will be provided.
 They have to plan the production based on the constraints imposed.

EVENT 7:

BEST MANAGER

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 Individual participation
 There are totally 3 rounds in this competition.
 Round 1: Written test (topic-current affairs,Aptitude questions and
commerce related Questions).
 Round 2: Group discussion (on the spot topic).
 Round 3: Personal interview.
 Personal interview will be stress interview.

SCRATCH YOUR TALENT (TALENT SHOW)

EVENTS:

 Singing(Group/dance)
 Dance (Group/Solo)
 Mimicry
 Mime
 Stand-up Comedy

EVENT 9:

HR GAMES

RULES & REGULATIONS:

Round 1:

 HR-Attack- Quiz based on human resource management

Round 2:

 HR-Craftzilla - Crafting a unique solution to an existing HR challenge faced


by a company. Participants will be judged on novelty of ideas, creativity,
feasibility, impact, choices and consequences!

Round 3:

 Let’s Hire! - Participants in this round will begin the recruitment process by
designing the job description, compensation plan and other essentials to
attract a mass of candidates towards their company (description will be
provided).

EVENT 10:

BULLS AND BEARS (STOCK)


• Only team of 2 students are allowed.

 ROUND 1 (PRELIMS)- A quiz will be conducted to check the knowledge of


participants from various domains including Finance, Share Markets,
Trading, etc
 ROUND 2 (FINALS)- This round brings to you our virtual stock exchange -
Stock Market Simulation. Be ready to experience the game of investing in a
securities market, analyzing the market conditions and testing your
analytical skills. Teams will be made to download stock simulator and after
multiple rounds, highest invested team wins the game.
 Judge's decisions will be final and binding and rules of the event can be
subject to change by the judges or organizers.

EVENT 11:

AD MAD

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 A team shall comprise of 2-3 members only


 Topics would be provided on the spot
 Participants are given 1 hour to shoot an advertisement video of minimum
duration of 5min within the campus.
 The advertisement shoot should be submitted within 1 hour.
 Participants shall be judged on the basis of spontaneity, content, adherence
to the topic, coordination and overall appeal of the advertisement.
 Participants cannot copy existing advertisement.
 Different forms of expression like a short skit, jingles, slogans, banners or
any other innovative form can be incorporated(care should be taken that
they are not offensive or vulgar).
 Decision of the judges will be final and binding
