PREFACE

Praise and gratitude I pray to the presence of God Almighty, so that I can complete this
assignment to fulfill individual assignments for English courses, with the theme
"autobiography". First of all, I would like to thank Mrs. Irene as an English lecturer who has
helped and provided very useful knowledge to her students.
This assignment contains the story of birth, childhood, adolescence, campus life, and dreams for the
future, and in this assignment also given some task requirements, namely it is expected to attach a
table of tenses and give examples of each tense taken from the writing that has been done.

I realize that the assignment I wrote is still far from perfect due to my lack of knowledge in English. I
apologize if there are errors in writing. Therefore, I look forward to all forms of suggestions and

Birth Story
Nine months later he was conceived. In 2003, the happy start of September. A boy
has been born. He was born on 2 September 2003 in Banyuwangi. He is the first born child.
He was born at noon, more precisely at 14.00. His father and mother feel happy because
their first child came. He wasn’t born in a hospital, but at home. His name is Muhammad
Helga Yudhi Miqailla. Helga is his nickname. Since birth he has lived with his father and
mother. His father’s name is Agus Wahyudi. He was born on 17 August 1972. His mother’s
name is Ana Yulaila. She was born on 1 April 1980. The place of origin of His father and
mother is not too far apart. Father’s place of origin is in Genteng Wetan, Banyuwangi. His
mother’s place of origin is in Genteng Kulon, Banyuwangi. Helga’s father works as an
entrepreneur. While His mother is just a housewife. Helga and his family live simply. Until
Helga was born, His parents still didn’t have their own place to live. They live in the house of
Helga’s father's parents. Since birth, Helga has been  drinking milk straight away, drinking
formula milk. Because His mother’s milk cannot come out. After a month, Helga’s parents
held a small event. This event is one of the Javanese customs whose purpose is to send a
safety prayer for the baby. Many families of Helga’s father and mother came. Someone
helped prepare food for the people present at the event.
Childhood

In Helga's childhood, he was raised by several siblings from her parents. The reason
was because Helga's parents used to work all of them. When he was 5 years old, Helga went
to his parents' office with him. He played in the warehouse of his parents' office. That period
lasted until Helga entered kindergarten. Helga studies at Bhayangkari Kindergarten. At this
time Helga began to be entrusted to his aunt. Aunt Helga was very fond of Helga. Until
Helga was like his own child. When he went to school Helga was accompanied by his aunt.
Helga at school the children were very timid. He didn't want to be left by his aunt. It was
also at this time when Helga played he was always with his nephew. His nephew's name is
Fadil. He is the son of Helga's father's twin. Because at that time Helga was living in one
house, namely at the house of Helga's father's grandmother. Helga and Fadil were always
together in their childhood. When his aunt goes somewhere, the two of them always come
with him. They are both always active to the point of throwing tantrums. Helga also had
difficulty eating as a child, because he did not like to try new foods. It was also during this
period that Helga began to like to eat noodles, so that noodles were Helga's favorite food.
At the age of 7, Helga began to enter elementary school. In grade 4, Helga had a close
friend. They are named Akmal and Gilang. The three of them were together until grade 6.
Teenage Life
 It was time for Helga to enter his teenage years. He has entered middle school. Helga
attends SMP N 1 Genteng. This was a new time and environment for Helga. However, there
were several of Helga's friends from elementary school who were in the same class as him.
Before starting a new lesson, there is always a series that aims to get to know the school
environment. Just like the early days of school, Helga still can't get along with new friends.
However, Helga was also happy to have made even more friends. Even though the
competition was also increasing, Helga had to adapt and increase his studies. In grade 7,
Helga participated in a mandatory activity for grade VII, namely scouting. This activity was
very fun because Helga got to know new friends from other classes too. It's time to make a
scout squad. Helga is eating in the canteen. Then an upperclassman invited him to join his
scouting team. Then Helga agreed and he finally got into the squad. Time is ticking, Helga
and his teammates will be preparing for a scouting race next month. Almost every time they
come home from school, they practice scouting. It was time to enter the day where they
competed between teams. Helga had prepared his luggage last night before leaving for
camping. They went together in a pick-up car. They camped for three days and three nights.
Arriving at the end of the event, the announcement of the winners was announced.
Unexpectedly, Helga's team won second place. They were very happy and touched. After
that period, it was time for the class promotion holiday. The school day started again and
Helga entered class VIII. At this time Helga began to focus on school learning. Time goes on
until the class increases. There was an announcement that made Helga a little sad, that the
grade IX promotion was randomized. However, only Hage and one of his classmates
changed classes. Helga is saddened to be separated from his two-year classmate. It's time
for a new class to begin. Helga, who still felt like a new kid, tried to blend in with his new
class. But Helga was greeted warmly in his new class. Finally Helga started to feel
comfortable. Helga began to focus on class IX. Helga will always study in tutoring after class
is over. The announcement of the National Examination has arrived and this is a thrilling
moment. Finally Helga was accepted at the desired high school.
It's time for Helga to become a teenager who is currently getting into his favorite
high school. And the first day of school begins. in high school before starting a new learning
there is a series that aims to introduce the school environment. This series is called the
School Environment Introduction Period or commonly called MPLS. At this time Helga had to
leave early. He had been prepared for 10 minutes before the series started. Unexpectedly, it
turns out that many of Helga's friends from middle school are in the same class as him. This
series runs for one week. The following week began a new lesson. This is where Helga
started to make new friends. They always played together in high school. One semester is
over. The bad news came, namely the Covid-19 virus disaster. As a result of this outbreak,
the second semester of learning is finally done online. From time to time until class XII,
finally learning can be done offline, but still must comply with health protocols. It didn't feel
like exam week had arrived, because the exams were for graduation, so many kinds of
exams were held from schools and provinces. The announcement of the college entrance
selection came. And a happy day, Helga was accepted into the desired college. And the day
of the graduation ceremony arrived, this is the day that will be the last meeting for all of
Helga's friends who will definitely separate and live a new life in someone else's city.
Campus Life
Time was running out, and Helga started to look for a boarding house close to his
university. He finally got it and started boarding one week before the day of the lecture. The
day came for the first day of college. Helga started boarding. However, before learning
begins there is a series held by the university itself. This series is called Introduction to
Campus Life for New Students or can be called PKKMB. This series lasts for 3 days and is held
on a hybrid basis, which means that half of the new students do it offline and the other half
online. This series is arranged very lively and cool. On that day Helga had to get up early
because the event started at 6 am. The closing day arrived and the event was filled with
excitement. However, the task of this series is still ongoing. Helga will have finished the task
tomorrow. The first day of class has arrived. Helga left for the faculty on foot. The distance
from the boarding house to the faculty was about 800 meters, so Helga left early. It's time to
start learning. Helga still couldn't mingle because it was the first time he entered and had to
mingle with his classmates. Learning began and there was time to introduce yourself in one
class to get to know each other. One week of ongoing learning is still filled with self-
introductions and explanations of each lecturer's lecture contract. Time passed and Helga
began to mingle and get to know each other. A few weeks later, the PKKMB series began
again, only this series was intended for the faculty itself. Here are also given several tasks
for graduation requirements from PKKMB.
Future Plans/dreams
In the coming year 2026, Helga will graduate from Brawijaya University. For now
Helga still has no definite goals for his future. He is still looking for a truly definite and
comfortable destination for his future. However, he also has dreams that are now about to
come true. The first is that he wants to graduate on time from 3.5 to 4 years. In addition,
Helga also wants to get good grades. Even though this is a new thing for Helga, especially in
IT, he will try his best not to repeat it next year. And for now, Helga will have been learning
about programming for the next 3.5 – 4 years. Not only developing his hard skills, Helga also
developed his soft skills. The second is that Helga wants to get a definite job before he
graduates. The reason is because if you are looking for a job after graduation, there is still
the possibility of not getting a job quickly. Therefore, Helga will seek work experience before
graduating by joining an internship. If he manages to get a job before he graduates, he
certainly doesn't have to bother looking for work. It is certain that Helga will earn an income
at a young age and he can buy his unfulfilled wishes, and he will set aside his money to save
for his future. In addition to the dreams that have been mentioned, there are also dreams
that Helga really wants to make come true, namely wanting to be happier and make Helga's
parents proud.
