Fish retailing is the nature of this business .To make fish available to consumers at
the right time and can buy fresh fish is the primary goal of this business. Fishermen
who catch fish by laboring overnight do not usually sell fish in retail markets.

II. PROJECT DISCRIPTION/ BACKGROUND


Talisayan is one of the coastal municipality of Misamis Oriental in which agriculture is
one of the livelihood of the people. Farming and fishing are the most common
livelihood of the residents.
LOCATION: Purok 6, Tagbocboc, Talisayan, Misamis Oriental.
SERVICE: Fish retailing with free delivery to the costumer.

III. OVERALL PURPOSE

The marketing of fish is important in the following ways. It helps in


determination of price for the fish products. It is a means of earning income for the
farmer. Marketing makes it possible for a farmer or marketer to recover the money
spent on both fixed and floating capital during the production or purchasing
process. Marketing of fish prevents glut by locating and transporting them from area
of surplus to the area of shortage. This process can maintain the price of the fish.
Then the fisherman can have a good price of their catch fish.
