ACT SCORE CONVERSION
To calculate your Selection Index score from your ACT scores, you will need to use concordance tables developed by
College Board and ACT, Inc. to convert your ACT scores to SAT scores. You will then use the SAT scores to calculate your
Selection Index score. The concordance tables and information on how to use them can be found in the Guide to the 2018
ACT/SAT Concordance, found at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/guide-2018-act-sat-concordance.pdf.
STEP 1
Find your Math score on your ACT Score Report. Use your ACT Math score and Table B2 to find the corresponding SAT
Math score.
STEP 2
Find your English score and Reading score on your ACT Score Report.
Add your ACT English and ACT Reading scores.
Use your ACT English+Reading score and Table C2 to find the corresponding SAT ERW score. Your SAT ERW score will be
used in place of the Reading and Writing and Language parts of the Selection Index score equation.
