4.1 Introductory Activity Opening Prayer

4.2 Activity/Strategy Word Search
The class will be group into 2. Each group should prepare ¼ sheet of paper
and have 5 minutes to find the 7 Lucky Words in a grid. The group that
found the right words will be given extra points for the today’s activity.

4.3 Analysis After the activity, the students will be asked randomly:
 What do you think would be our topic is all about?
 Does anyone here in the class has an idea, what part of Visual Arts
would be our topic for today?
4.4 Abstraction The discussion will be done. Questions from the students are also
encouraged to deepen the class interaction.
4.5 Application “I Will Apply Rule of Thirds”
• The students will be group into 2. Each group will be given 3
printed pictures and have 10 minutes to apply the Rule of Thirds
grid in each pictures. Choose 1 representative in your group to
explain if the pictures are in a good composition or not.
4.6 Assessment TEST I: TRUE OR FALSE
Identify the following statements if it is true or false. Write TRUE if the
statement is true and FALSE if it is false.
1. To achieve good composition, use Rule of Thirds.
2. Bird’s Eye View, shooting from below
3. The composition is what you see within the camera’s
viewfinder.
4. Depth of Field is how much of your image focus.
5. Worm’s Eye View, shooting from above

4.7 Assignment The students have to work on the following task at home:
Taking Good Pictures. Take a picture of a subject placing it at the center of the
viewfinder. Take a picture of the same subject but this time applying the Rule of
Thirds. Place the pictures in a long bond paper beside each other and compare
the two compositions. What is your comment regarding this?
