I. EVENT TITLE:
Project KAPYANAN NA ABBING: An Extension Program to the Children of Brgy Gosi Sur
Tuguegaro City, Cagayan in collaboration with the Organization of Future Social Workers”
II. EVENT PROPONENT:

Project Kapyanan na Abbing is headed by the 3rd Year Social Work Students (Children
Group) of Cagayan State University-Carig Campus who will cater and manage all
resources needed of the program.
III. EVENT RATIONALE:
The Philippines celebrates the National Children's Month (NCM) every November by
virtue of Republic Act No. 10661 to recognize children as the most valuable assets of the
nation and to emphasize the importance of their role within the Filipino family and the
Philippine society. In connection, as future leaders who advocate for the rights of all
Filipinos, the Social Work Students shall conduct Children’s Month Celebration this
November 2022. The celebration’s aim is to actively participate in the nationwide
celebration for the children’s rights of the nation.
IV. EVENT OBJECTIVES

Children’s Month Celebration Webinar
● To celebrate the Children’s Month 2022.
● To capacitate and educate the social work students on the children’s right.
● To build awareness of protecting children's rights.
● To promote and strengthen the development of a child as a responsible member of a
free society.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This proposal covers the specific details of the forthcoming activity which is the Celebration
for children’s month. The said event is composed of one (1) day activities: Community-
Based-Event. The proposed budget in this activity amounts to ₱4, 370.00 which will be
mainly used for the contribution to the OFSW; Food for the members; Gifts for Childrens.
