“In order to grow as a mature individual, one has to experienced and learned from
difficult feelings of pain and loss.” Memories and emotions as two important distinctive factors
of human development which could either bring hope and despair in to our lives. But how really
come sadness as a negative emotion can light up a real-life situation?
Tears are the height of weakness which you can turn as your strengths. Actually, once I
cried it out the pain that I feel, I can finally smile again and the weight of that pain in my chest
will be gone for a while. Because an emotional scars won’t be healed in an instant but in time
where everything is okay and all the happy memories will be prevail upon where it will stop you
from believing that what you seems good for you is not good after all. We have to accept how
painful it is to lose someone or things that became part of our life which help us to go through of
the hardships in our lives or how we missed our old life in our old towns and let ourselves to
acquire new ones instead. And I think to let them go will help us to enter a new stage of our life.
FORGET and ACCEPTANCE is what we need and what I have importantly realized, that for us
to accept the present, we have to forget the past by keeping those memories to be kept and bury
all the unimportant memories. We have to hold on to our happy memories as always and make it
as a motivation to continue on our journey here in this beautiful mundane.
The movie was giving major importance on how it is necessary to acknowledge our own
emotions by labeling them and release them in way that no one will be hurt. It also emphasizing
the importance of having someone close to you, like your friends and your family. The message
the movie wants to give another attention is for the parents to be aware of their children’s
emotions. Since nowadays, there are a large number of suicide cases among youth ages from 18
year by pyear; it is very alarming to some extent that there will be larger cases of suicide in the
following years. So, it is really important that the parents must pay attention to their children and
help them to process difficult and painful feelings most especially if they are in the stage of
adolescence to early adulthood. But as a whole, the parents should really guide their children till
they can support their own needs. Although by consulting someone about your emotions or
thoughts will not easily remove or reduce the weight of a certain feelings but it is better rather
than trying to suppress it which is not good to our health. And I learned that it is important to
keep our emotions in check to avoid further misunderstanding or miscommunication with the
other people and to avoid committing serious crimes towards ourselves and to the other people. It
is a matter of fact that we have to learn controlling of our emotions by applying the healthy
emotion strategies to boost our level of communication and build strong connection with the
others. Although it is hard to do it and I find it hard as well, I really have to if it could help me
and you to improves our social life and our relationship with the people we loved and cared for.
Another piece of advice to everyone, do not think problems as a problem but an
opportunity to learned new things and as gifts to excel. Let us have a strong heart that can
withstand stress, be level-headed and have delicate hands. Being depressed was pointless and if
we commit the same mistakes over and over, we have to survive. We can survive! Remember,
mistakes and difficulties are part of learning. Let us not be bothered or wavered by the problems
or by the negative feelings that we experiences and wear a hill billy expression but instead have
uproar of laughter.
Emotions can be very playful and nerve-wracking but in retrospect, you are gaining
something such as valuable knowledge where I think it is somehow good to our part or
somewhat a necessity to understand or realized as person. We have to experience all the things
for us to grow – the hardships and the like. Thus, it will contribute to our overall understanding
about us and as well as deeper understanding about our surroundings and other things. This is to
prepare us for a new stage of our life. So, stop questioning why is it happening to our lives. But
accept the challenge and win that challenge. Be the Winner of your life. Expect the unexpected
and be the unexpected. In any hardships, great suffering and saddening situation, we have to bear
in mind that, “There Would Be No Rainbow, Without Rain”. Negative emotions will never be
viewed as bad in all aspects. It heals one’s broken hearts and it gives warmth to each relationship
which makes it last longer. Thus, sadness as a negative emotion can be A FLOWER OF HOPE.
