CORONATION CEREMONY SCRIPT

BENJIE: Our distinguished guest, respected local government unit officials,


generous parents of the member of Royal Court, Barangay and PTA Officials,
principal, head teacher, fellow teachers, students, ladies and gentlemen, Good
afternoon!

KIM: We are gathered this afternoon to witness the coronation ceremony of our
21st Founding Anniversary King and Queen. We have seen them earlier during the
parade, but I am certain! Your enthusiasm and excitement are still soaring high.
For sure, the member of our court will be more astounding this afternoon!
Without any further ado, let me introduce to you my partner, Sir Benjie L.
Florentino, and yours truly, Ms. Kimberly M. Caintoy, your Masters of Ceremonies
for this affair.

BENJIE: Before we formally start this event, let us acknowledge first the presence
of our honored guest which to be formally introduced later,

I. Entrance of Colors

KIM/BENJIE: Now, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Maindang National High


School 21st Founding Anniversary Grand Coronation Ceremony.
BENJIE: To start this event, let us welcome our senior scouts for the entrance
of colors. Our scout will serve as the royal guard of our royalties. They are
responsible for serving and protecting the court from any harm. They make
sure that the rulers of this land are safe and condition at all times. Everyone,
let us welcome the senior scouts!

II. Grand Entrance of the Royal Court

KIM: Thank you scouters. I am sure everybody is eager to witness the beauty and
charm of our royal court. So, we will not prolong your agony of waiting. Now
everybody, join us in welcoming our royalties for their grand entrance. May we
request everyone to stand as we welcome our royalties.

BENJIE: Beginning with the grand entrance of her royal highness, Fifth Princess
Trishia Mae Hallegado Emplamado. Princess Trishia Mae Emplamado is 15 years
old. A grade 10- Walnut student under the advisorship of Mrs. Lida Fe Derafera.
She lives in Brgy. Agdahon, Cuartero, Capiz, a loving daughter of Mr. Ruel
Emplamado, and Mrs. Emely Emplamado. She likes to read, to sleep and to dance
in TikTok app. Her ambition in life is to become a flight attendant. Her motto is
“Today I will do what others won’t so that tomorrow, I can accomplish what
others can’t”.

Ladies and gentlemen, our fifth princess, Princess Trishia Mae Hallegado Haluan.

KIM: Next, our fourth royal highness, Princess Jessa Mae Cerbo Natalio. Princess
Jessa Mae is 17 years old. A grade 11-HUMSS student under the advisorship of
Mrs. Mirasol Federizo. She lives in Brgy. Agdahon, Cuartero, Capiz. A passionate
daughter of Mr. Henry Natalio, and Mrs. Nilma Natalio. She likes to dance, to
watch TikTok videos, and to travel in different places. When she grows up, she
wants to become a police woman. She believes “Failure will never overtake us if
our determination to succeed is strong enough”.

Again, our fourth princess, Princess Jessa Mae Cerbo Natalio.

BENJIE: Now, let us give it up, to our third royal highness, Princess Tricia Mae
Estorque Haluan. Princess Tricia Mae Haluan is 18 years old. A grade 12-HUMSS
under the advisorship of Mrs. Aileen Fabiaña. She lives in Brgy. Maindang,
Cuartero, Capiz. A sweet daughter of Mrs. Jehjeh Haluan and respectful grand-
daughter of Mrs. Aldelfa Haluan. She likes to travel, to watch TikTok videos, to
dance, and to eat. In the future, she wants to be a Cabin Steward. Her motto in
life “If you want to achieve excellence, you can’t get there today. As of this
second, quit doing less, than excellent works”.

KIM: Everyone, our second royal highness, Princess Ashley Nicole Bada-an Daniel.
Princess Ashley Nicole is 13 years old. A grade 8-Yakal student under the
advisorship of Mr. Radnie Di Jowseph. She lives in Brgy. Maindang, Cuartero,
Capiz. An affectionate daughter of Mr. Wendell Daniel, and Mrs. Marivic Daniel.
She likes to sing, and to dance. She aims to become an accountant in the future.
For her the “Time is Gold”.

BENJIE: Ladies and gentlemen, our first royal highness, Princess Angel Mae Dela
Cruz Maglayo. First Princess Angel Mae is 14 years old. A grade 9-Jupiter student
under the advisorship of Ms. Mary Joy ______________ . She lives in Brgy.
Agdahon, Cuartero, Capiz. She is a warmhearted and alluring daughter of Mr.
Rene Maglayo, and Mrs. Maricel Dela Cruz. She likes reading. In the future, she
wants to be a lawyer. She believes, “Love yourself first, and everything else falls
into line”.

KIM: And now, the most exciting part of this ceremony. The grand entrance of our
21st Founding Anniversary King and Queen, His Majesty King Angelo Yron Penaso
Bederio, and Her Majesty Queen Kimjan Marnemi Maxian Hapin.

BENJIE: King Angelo is 18 years old. A grade 11-HUMSS student under the
advisorship of Mrs. Mirasol Federizo. He lives in Brgy. Mainit, Cuartero, Capiz. He
is a loving and responsible son of Mr. Jimmy Bederio, and Mrs. Gina Bederio. He
likes to watch movies. His ambition in life is to become a soldier. His motto is
“Mahalin mo muna ang sarili mo, bago mo mahalin ang ibang tao”.

KIM: Queen Kimjan is thirteen years of age. A grade 8-Yakal student under the
advisorship of Mr. Radnie Di Jowseph. She lives in Brgy. Agdahon, Cuartero, Capiz.
She is a compassionate child of Mrs. Danema Hapin, and Mr. Gumar Hapin. A
sweet and ravishing grand-daughter of Mrs. Marilou Maxian and Mr. Danilo
Maxian. She likes to sleep, to eat, and perform in TikTok App. In the future, she
wants to become a police woman. She believes “If you look at what you have in
life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll
never have enough.”

BENJIE/KIM: Ladies and gentlemen the MNHS 21st Founding Anniversary


Royalties. Again, let us give them a round of applause!

III. Welcome Message

KIM: This time, to enliven more our atmosphere and accommodate us by giving
his welcome message, may we request the dynamic, respected and good-looking
head teacher II of Maindang National High School, Mr. Valentin E. Francisco. Let
us our hand together for Sir Valentine Francisco.

IV. IV. Donning of Sashes, and Offering of Bouquet

BENJEI: Thank you sir Val for that warm welcome. At this point, let us have the
donning of sashes, offering of bouquet to our royal members, and crowning of
our princesses. Sashes are symbols of title to be kept, and flowers symbolizes the
appreciation and thanks.

To start this momentous part of the ceremony, may we call on our 5th princess,
Ms. Trishia Mae Emplamado. To don the sash and to offer the bouquet to our 5 th
princess, may we invite her parents, Mr. Ruel Emplamado, and Mrs. Emely
Emplamado to do the honor.

KIM: Thank you dear parents, next, may we call on our 4 th princess, Ms. Jessa Mae
Natalio. To don the sash and to offer the bouquet to her highness, may we
request her mother, Mrs. Nilma Natalio,

BENJIE: Thank you ________________________________________. Next, we


have our 3rd princess, Ms. Trisha Mae Haluan. May we request her dear mother,
Mrs. Jenjen Haluan, and her lola, Mrs. Adelfa Haluan to do the honor of donning
the sash and offering of the bouquet.

KIM: Thank you __________________________________________. Now let us


move on to our 2nd princess, Ms. Ashley Nicole Daniel. To don the sash and offer
the bouquet to our royal highness, may we ask

may we call on our 1st princess, Ms. Angel Mae Maglayo. To don the sash and

KIM: Now, let us have our majesties! King Angelo Yron Bederio and Queen Kimjan
Marnime Hapin. To don the sash to our king, may we request his mother Mrs.
Gina Bederio, ______________________________________________ to do the
honor. And to don the sash and to offer the bouquet to our queen, may we
request her grandmother, Mrs. Marilou Maxian, and her class adviser Mr. Radnie
De Joseph to do the honor.

Congratulations, your highnesses and your majesties. You may now return to your
thrones.

V. Proclamation of the King and Queen

BENJIE: At this juncture, let us have the Proclamation of the King and Queen to be
done by our distinguished guest. May we call on
____________________________________ to introduce him to us.

VI. Crowning of the King and Queen


KIM: Thank you Hon. Mayor Openiano for your royal proclamation
________________________________. Good wishes to our King and Queen. Now
let us move on to the most awaited part of this event, the coronation of your
majesties, the King and the Queen.

KIM: All kings deserve the crown of integrity. And it is indeed true to our King, His
Majesty King Angelo Yron Bederio. To do the honor of crowning the king, may we
request _______________________________________________________

May we ask everyone to please rise, to give honor to our newly crowned King
Angelo Yron Bederio. Let us give him a round of applause.

BENJIE: The crown is the highest honor bestowed on a queen. So let the crowing
of Her Majesty Queen Kimjan Marnemie Hapin begin. May we ask

to do the honor of crowning our queen. Again, may we request the public to
please rise, and give honor to our queen.

VII. Coronation Speech – Hon. Mayor Joemarie H. Openiano

KIM: Congratulations your majesties. You can now seat in the comfort of your
thrones. Now, we may call on our Hon. Mayor, Mayor Joemarie H. Openiano to
deliver his coronation speech. Let us give him a big hand!

Once again, thank you Hon. Mayor Joemarie Openiano. To award the certificate
of appreciation to our honored guest, may we request our respected principal I,
Mrs. Coronacion D. Gadong and our dynamic head teacher II, Mr. Valentin E.
Francisco.

VIII. Serenade – Sanque Gregorio


BENJIE: At this point, let us make ourselves comfortable and relaxed as we listen
to the sweet serenade of Mr. Sanque Gregorio. Let us give him a warm welcome.

Another serenade will be given to us by _______________________________,

IX. Royal Offerings

KIM: Thank you Mr. Sanque and __________________ for that soothing and
pleasing song numbers. At this point, let us be amazed of the royal offerings of
our talented students and gifted teachers. Starting off with our grade 10 selected
students. A big hand for them.

KIM: What a _____________________ performance. Thank you, dear students!


Next in line, the stunning and highly spirited JHS teachers of Maindang National
High School. A resounding applauds to our JHS teachers!

KIM: See? Our teachers are not just an excellent performer in the classroom. They
are also marvelous performer on stage.

KIM: Let us see if they can surpass the performance of our JHS teachers, ladies
and gentlemen the SHS teachers for their royal offering!

X. The Royal Dance

BENJIE: Thank you, students, and teachers for that fiery and full of life royal
offerings. Now let us witness our highnesses and majesties performing their royal
dance.

XI. Words of Thanks


KIM: It is indeed that our royalties are glamorous and alluring. Thank you, your
highnesses and majesties. To formally close this ceremony, let us welcome the
ever supportive, motherly and gorgeous principal I of our school, Mrs. Coronacion
D. Gadong. Let us give her a big big hand!

BENJIE: Thank you ma’am Gadong. That conclude our ceremony this
