TUP MISSION

The BTVTED program is an undergraduate teacher education program that equips
learners with adequate and relevant competencies in teaching specific area in Industrial
Arts or Home Economics or ICT or Agri-Fishery Arts – the four areas of technical and

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Technology for Teaching and Learning 2 is a 3-unit course which will focus on the
application, design, production, utilization and evaluation of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) materials for teaching and learning Technology and
Livelihood Education (TLE) / Technical-vocational-Livelihood (TVL).

For you to be able to accomplish the activities, you need to have your TUP account for
you to be able to access your Teams in MS Teams. Likewise, you will be needing the
following software application: MS word, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Flash and other

Scholarly Expectations
All works submitted for credit must be original and created uniquely for the class. Finished
output are expected to demonstrate higher order thinking skills.

You are encouraged to learn and apply yourself in a way that promotes respect for
yourself and others. Students are expected to conduct themselves with scholarly integrity.
Any type of scholastic dishonesty is prohibited. University policies on academic dishonesty
will strictly be enforced.

Attendance Policy
You are expected to attend all scheduled ONLINE and FACE-TO-FACE classes. Actively
participate in ALL forms of synchronous and asynchronous engagement.

Assignment Policy
All assignments for this course will be submitted electronically through the MS Teams
unless otherwise instructed. Assignments must be submitted on the given deadline.
Extensions will not be given beyond the next assignment except under extreme compelling
circumstances.

Late Work Policy


Be sure to pay close attention to deadlines-there will be no make-up assignments or late
work accepted without a serious and compelling reason and with course facilitator
approval. Late submission is discouraged because learning and assessment activities are
connected. Students can’t proceed to the next task without performing the previous task/s.
