TUP MISSION
The Technological University of the Philippines shall provide higher and advanced
vocational, technical, industrial, technological, and professional education and training in
industries and technology and in practical arts leading to applied research, certificates,
diplomas, and degrees. It shall provide progressive leadership in developmental studies in

The BTVTED program is an undergraduate teacher education program that equips
learners with adequate and relevant competencies in teaching specific area in Industrial
Arts or Home Economics or ICT or Agri-Fishery Arts – the four areas of technical and

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Technology for Teaching and Learning 2 is a 3-unit course which will focus on the
application, design, production, utilization and evaluation of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) materials for teaching and learning Technology and
Livelihood Education (TLE) / Technical-vocational-Livelihood (TVL).

Scholarly Expectations
