Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb
Good morning, distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen
Your excellency, Sir Mulyadi ST, MT as Director of Standardization
Your excellency, Dr. Ir. Ismail, as Director General of SDPPI
And we honor the speakers, the guests, and those who participate in the event.
Welcome to INDONESIA ICT STANDARDIZATION FORUM 2022, “The role of
standardization for health and safety in the use of telecommunication device to support
digital transformation”.
Thank you for being able to be here and also for those in the zoom, in the middle of your
busy schedule. I am sure it’s pretty hard to reject the invitation to attend this event.
I am Sylvia Haura Carolina Devi. I feel very honored to be the host for today and I’m
also very excited to be along with you here at this ballroom. It is such a great opportunity
for us all to interact, and network with peers, and colleagues across information and
communications technology.
The massive number and rapid growth of telecommunication device users, such as
smartphones, tablets, and laptops, in Indonesia, has led to the importance of compliance
with technical standards for the distributed devices to ensure public safety and non-
interference. Standards and conformity assessments to avoid interference and ensure
public safety for telecommunication equipment including Specific Absorption Rate
(SAR), Electromagnetic Field (EMF), and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
The complete material will be delivered by outstanding speakers.

To kick off this morning’s event, we are pleased to have the Director of Standardization
with us to deliver his welcome remarks. Sir Mulyadi ST, MT., time is yours.

We are now going to listen to the opening remarks and keynote speech, to Dr. Ir. Ismail,
MT as Director General of SDPPI, time is on your side.

Ladies and Gentlemen. Without any further ado, let us now start our main event
session by welcoming the moderator who will lead the discussion and question and

efforts, ideas, and plans for a better Indonesia, especially in terms of technology,
