Questions:

1. Are there other principles not applied by the teacher nor listed in the table? If yes write them on the space 3
provided.

Yes, since it's necessary to assess students' comprehension using how

and why rather than just what. How and why are very real in our daily lives
because they allow students to relate their own experiences and engage in
critical thinking

2. What skills are developed/enhanced during the learning process?

The skills that are developed during the learning process are:
1. Discipline
2. Cooperation
3. Communication

3.What did the teacher do to enhanced/developed the needed skills?

Teachers and students must interact in the classroom to improve the relevant skills. It facilitates
teaching and learning and can improve students' communication skills. It describes how the learners'
interaction between them and the teacher, as well as the entire class. and if you don't ask the inquiry first,
there won't be any interaction

4. What communication skills were utilized by the teacher during the teaching-learning process?

During the teaching-learning process, the teacher used the following communication skills:
1. WRITTEN & ORAL COMMUNICATION
2. PRESENTATION
3. ACTIVE LISTENING
4. RESPECT
5. FEEDBACK

During the discussion, a teacher who is good at communicating constantly makes things
simpler and more understandable.

5. Describe how the learners respond to the communication strategies of the teacher.

Since the LILIMASAN NHS only has a small space, they are no longer providing
online or modular classes; instead, they are offering full-time classes that run from
Monday through Friday. As a result, the students respond to the teacher's
communication techniques by participating in class by raising their hands and
sharing their thoughts on the lecture. In other words, it means that students are free
to share their knowledge or concepts with their lessons. These techniques will assist
the learners in improving their speaking confidence and active listening skills.

Motivation CHECKING OF ASSIGNMENT, RECITATION, RECAP

The following day, after the discussion, the teacher and student will evaluate the
assignments so that the student may understand what has to be improved and given time
to study.

Presentation of the lesson DEFINE

Before beginning the lesson presentation, the teacher will ask the student for any insights
or ideas he or she may have on the topic. For the students to follow the flow of the lesson
being taught, the teacher uses a powerpoint presentation that projects on screen.

Development of the lesson GIVE EXAMPLE, PICTURES, SHORT VIDEO

When you are teaching, using examples is a pretty typical practice. providing an example
will help students understand what you're trying to express.

Generalization/ Closure/ Drawing insights ASKING QUESTION

You'll observe that every teacher will ask a question to the class at the end of the
discussion in order to assess how well the students are paying attention. Students who
ask questions may be better able to engage in critical reflection.

Enrichment/ Application/Fixing Skills GROUP ACTIVITY, QUIZ

Throughout the discussion as I observed a few students who are actively participating in
the class and the others are not really into participating, maybe of some distraction like
talking with your seatmates. To apply all the learning that they have teacher are always
giving a group activity of the students to collaborate with other peers.

Assessment/evaluation QUIZ PERFORMANCE TASK

After a lecture, teachers will always conduct a quiz to assess their students'
understanding and see where they need to make improvements.

Answer the following questions:

Are the learning principles applied by the teacher appropriate with the nature of the learners and learning conditions?
Why or why not?

Yes, Because the teacher starts the class off with her inspiration and motivation, the learning principles she applies
are suited for the learners' personalities and the learning environment. The teacher is also inclusive of all the children because
part of your job as a teacher is to create a safe environment where each student feels appreciated and heard. Additionally, the
teaching-learning process is oriented on the student, and the teacher has created a learning atmosphere that promotes active
participation to aid students in making sense with who they are as learners.

Did you observe passive learners? If yes, what might be their reasons why they are passive/silent?

Yes, We saw that several students were passive. Perhaps for this reason, some of them are hesitant to express their
thoughts on the topic. Additionally, we saw that the teacher frequently chooses the names of the kids who sit in the front,
leaving students in the back with a tendency to not pay attention in class. Some of them are talking with their seatmates,
particularly those who aren't paying attention during class. Sometimes, students are asked to read the presentation's text and
discuss their comments by the teacher. They simply prefer to listen and let their fellow classmates answer.

Are the communication strategies used by the teacher appropriate to the level of the learners? Justify your answer.
Yes, Because to the teacher's use of language that the students could easily understand, the communication
strategies she employed were appropriate for their level. Many students don't speak English well, thus the teacher
may decide to rephrase the answers so that everyone can understand them.

4 If you are the teacher, what possible learning principle(s) and strategy(ies) would you apply to elicit 7
meaningful learning?

First, discipline and cooperation will allow the student to concentrate on their
academics. If I were the teacher, I may use these principles to elicit meaningful learning. Being a
cooperative student will enable you to communicate with your classmates and work as a team
on any group projects or performances. Last but not least, creating a plan can help you inspire
your students and have a clear schedule for what you will accomplish next.

Reflect

1. Among the principles of learning, which one is the most important for you? Substantiate your answer.

The students' collaboration, in my opinion. You may think it's really simple, but I guess you realize how
effective group collaboration among students is. Collaboration is crucial because it will establish you as an
unified member of a team. When the LILIMASAN NHS students had their performance task last Friday, I
noticed how they interacted with one another and handled the situation. Working together with your group
members can be very challenging because each student has a unique perspective. But if you listen to others
as well, you can work together to accomplish your goals.

2. What insight did you learn from the class activities that you have observed?
I've learned how to patiently try to explain the lecture to the students in a basic manner so that they
would comprehend during the period of the last four days that I observed in the LILIMASAN NHS. The
students are very respectful of the elderly, and they even address us as ma'am and sir to show that they
respect us. Teachers never forget to inspire their students; by doing so, they can improve their motivation to
achieve well in class. Deploying in DEPED and experiencing firsthand how the teaching profession
operates was the best experience, observing classroom interaction between the teacher and the students.
