    Preventive herd health program

    A vaccination scheme must be formu-


    lated to prevent diseases common in the area.
    The scheme should be followed on a continuing
    basis. It must blend into other farm manage-
    ment practices to minimize labor use and avoid
    undue stress to the animals. The following table
    presents a sample scheme of preventive herd
    health program.
