1. React on the issue pre martial sex. Is it morally permissible?

- It will always depend on the people view things. In other religion, pre martial sex is not morally
permissible because they have their values and morals that they uphold because of their
religious belief but currently, with this new generations, having sexual intercourse with
someone is morally permissible even before marriage as long as it has a consent with their
partners and as long as they practice safe sex with consent, I’m definitely good with that. For me
it is a one way to know their partners in a deeper meaning.

2. Why do people seek sex outside marriage? What may be the cause? Is it moral issues?
- I think its because of pleasure of one person and peer pressure from the surrounding. During
this new generations, there are so many factors that leads a person to seek pleasure,
excitement and social media is one of the leading factors of it. It is morally bad because you are
committed to someone and you strive for more than that. Having sex outside marriage is a sin
since its part of the 10 commandments, you betrayed the god’s law. I believe that it is a moral
issue singe we are dealing with a sin. It’s part of the law, and 10 commandments. We should be
contented with what we have and be loyal to one another because at the end of the they, you
can hurt someone feelings and the trust that builds your relationship.

3. What ethical issues do doctors or other medical professionals (nurses) face when giving
contraceptive advice?
- I think the confidentiality and the belief of one’s person. When a teenager seek advice when it
comes to contraceptive, people will gossip about it especially when a child is teenager. When a
teenager seek advice and the medical attendee is very religious, and have strong beliefs,
sometimes the attendee physicians will ignore the teenager since she’s too young.

4. Is artificial insemination bad? Explain

- For me no, i think it’s a very beautiful discovery especially to those partners who cannot
conceive. I believe that it’s a solution not a problem. It can give hope to those family who wants
to have a child for a very long time. I also believe that consent must always be practiced. It is
really important to have consent from both partners to make sure that there is no problem with
one another and for the medical professions to have a legal documentation as a proof of
consent and willingness.

5. Can the surrogacy phenomenon be abused? Justify

- surrogacy can be an abused in a way that there are some circumstances that some parents
abandoned their children after knowing some birth defects, some partners neglects to pay the
surrogate mothers. It can be an abused because the world is full of possibilities

6. What ethical issues are be raised regarding surrogacy?

- I think surrogate in some cases becomes a business especially to other countries. Before
surrogacy is only applicable to those parents who doesn’t really conceive a child but now it
becomes a business that even a family can conceive, they choose to have surrogate mother and

pay. In some cases, parents neglect surrogate mothers when the couple can now conceive.
There are more ethical issues when it comes to surrogacy.

7. What ethical principles surround the issue of abortion?

- I think the ethical principles surrounds the issue of abortion is Autonomy, non-maleficence ,
beneficence and justice. Attorney because lack of self-determination, non-maleficence because
it harms the baby through abortion. Beneficence because instead of keeping the child they
choose to abort it without kindness and justice because everyone must be treated fairly even
though its unexpected to have a child, we don’t have the right to kill someone else.

8. Can a nurse refuse to assist with an abortion?

- The nurse has the right to refuse to assist on abortion based on persons beliefs and moral
objection. However, ones the pregnancy is terminated, the nurse should no longer be able to
refuse care because the mother might suffer.
