I. Identify the important rules of the following in the success of community extension programs.
(20pts)
A. Community leader
The most successful leaders, I saw did present some sort of vision that acknowledged the most present problem
the community has understood of the community but at the same time, in the same meeting the first concrete
projects very important at least one short term project for which they could easily state what materials and
what man power is needed what kind of people they need and what the outcome is, when this project is done
and how it can be part of the solution. They too do name dropping in this presentation like: know you good
with that maybe you can help with A and so on. This sort of leader usually has more impact than one who only
comes up with a vision and has no clue about the skills people of his community has. A successful leader always
teams up the right people It can help to do some preparation.
B. Youth
A half-dozen teenagers meet at their local community centers with adult city council members to share the
results of a survey they conducted to help the city council understand adolescent needs and how to serve young
people more effectively. They leave the meeting with plans to meet again the following week with two city
council members to plan a community service event for young people and their families. These examples of
community programs for youth represent just a few of the many diverse programs operating throughout the
United States. There are various efforts at both the individual organization level and the broader community
level to promote adolescent development through community programs. While many youth organizations,
foundations, and citywide initiatives support youth development concepts and practices, there is little
agreement on what specifically constitutes a youth development program and little systematic information on
the breadth and diversity of efforts to provide these kinds of opportunities. You could also encourage your child
to think about his family, friends and neighbors to see whether there’s someone he could help a new parent or
an elderly neighbor, for example. You can get involved by talking with your child about these programs and the
benefits they have in the community.
C. Resident
What kind of Resident you’re looking to register and why? If you are founding a high growth startup or at least
one that hopes to be with the intention of growing rapidly, raising money from outside investors and
eventually incentivizing your team with equity, then by far the easiest, fastest, least expensive and most
powerful way is to use that is a very vague phrase. It could mean anything that extends a community, or offers
an extension of something in a community. One specific use of the word extension program is in education,
where it means education for adults to help them earn the equivalent of a high-school diploma. But the
meaning is going to depend on context.
D. School
Therefore, it integrates academic study with community service to enrich learning, teach civic and social
responsibility and at the same time strengthen communities, while students reflect upon their experiences,
learn and benefit from them. In Service-Learning, the University Community Extension Services Office, the
Service-Learning Unit and the Community are considered the learning partners. Service Learning combines
community service with academic instruction as it focuses on critical reflective thinking and civic and social
responsibilities of the learners. It involves students in organized community service. It is pedagogy of teaching
by which students learn and develop through active participation in organized community service. It is
dedicated to meeting local community needs, while developing their academic skills, civic responsibility and
commitment to the community.
