Join Us!
Dues are only $10 per year. All proceeds go to maintenance and improvements to our community beach,
boat ramp, and pier, and not to our personal yacht and wine vineyard. We always welcome suggestions and
comments, but if you really want your voice to be heard, you can attend our meetings and be a voting
member! Remember, this is YOUR neighborhood as much as ours, so join us in helping to make it better for our
children and future residents! HPIA Membership Applications can be found by going to hpia.weebly.com,
under MEMBERSHIP, FORMS and print a copy or by calling (443)305-9110, (between the hours of 9am to 8pm).
Boat Ramp Keys
New keys and memberships will be available for the 2023-2024 seasons by calling or emailing us at the contact
info slathered all over this newsletter. Key sales start on the 11th of March 2023 at 832 Riverside Drive from 9am
till noon (coffee and doughnuts will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring us eggs and bacon. I prefer
scrambled with cheese, John likes sunny side up). Cost of a two year key is $150 for residents of the community,
and $250 for a non-resident key. NOTE *All non-resident keys must be sponsored by a current resident. The
sponsoring resident will be responsible for their actions, so don’t pick that friend that always got you into trouble
in High School! All keys will be good until March 14th, 2025. Additional stickers can be purchased at a cost of
$10 each ($15 for non-residents). Any resident purchasing a key automatically becomes a member of the
community association until March of 2025. Talk about savings!
High Point Day @ Hersheypark
High Point Day at Hershey Park is scheduled for Sunday, April 23rd from 10am – 6pm. Tickets are only $36 per
person, so act now before they are all gone! There’s never been a better time to get on that roller coaster you’ve
been meaning to throw up on! Please email [email protected] for tickets.
Easter Egg Hunt
You know that giant patch of land over by the basketball courts that no one uses (except the jerks from the
other communities with the ATVs)? Well the Faith United Methodist Church has offered to host an Easter Egg
Hunt there for all of the kids in the community on Saturday, April 8th starting at 2pm. Children will be divided into
2 groups: ages 2-5 and ages 6-10 so that everyone is sure to get some eggs! Be on the lookout for Peter
Cottontail, he just may make an appearance! The church will also be selling homemade chocolate covered
Easter eggs in March (if you’ve ever had the pleasure of having food from the church you know how much of a
treat this will be!) Keep an eye on Facebook where we will let everyone know when they are available! I call
dibs on the peanut butter filled ones!
May Festival and Classic Car Event
Faith United Methodist Church is killing it this year! On May 13th, they will be hosting their May Festival at the
church. They will packed with all sort of fun stuff! Vendors hawking their wares, delicious food at reasonable
prices, fun and exciting crafts for the kiddies, and the icing on the cake, beautiful classic cars on display
courtesy of some of the local classic car clubs. Come join in on the festivities!
High Point Block Party
Mark your calendars folks, on Saturday, June 10th, It’s back baby! The Jewel of the HPIA crown is our annual
Block Party, which we hold at the Community Beach and Boat Ramp. We dipped our toes back in the pool
late last year, but now we are ready to do a Triply Lindy back into the deep end (props to anyone who gets
that reference without googling it). If you can volunteer any amount of time, resources, or contacts to
contribute to the party, please let us know as quickly as possible by email at [email protected] or
phone call at 443-305-3110. Even if you can’t volunteer on the day of the party (and let’s face it, it’s more fun
to be at the party than work it) we can still use help in the work leading up to the day! Looking forward to
seeing everyone there! Look for more details as we get closer!
More to come!
Keep an eye out on our Facebook page, or visit us at hpia.weebly.com for more information of upcoming news
and events! Remember all forms, the boat ramp rules and the parking map can be found by going to
