Please make layout according to the actual condition of the machine room, lay every part of the
machine fitly and beautifully. Try to make the operation more convenient so as to realize the normal
functions of the machine. Please refer to the following points:
a) Consider the photograph bed as the center while making layout, because the position of bed
decides the route in and out, and the supporting device of the X-ray tube. Besides, the position of
bed has something to do with the photograph direction of X-ray.
b) It should be convenient to examine the patient. If permitted, there should be enough area on the
bed side where patients get on and off.
c) The photograph direction of X-ray should make it easy to protection people from radiation.
d) Make it convenient to operate and maintenance. This includes two parts: firstly, please arrange
every part of the machine suitably avoiding working trip of the operator; secondly, do not place the
parts too close otherwise it will influence the maintenance and repair.

16
e) Reasonable wiring. Try your best to make the wiring orderly, avoid too many crosses which will
influence the working and appearance. Figure 15 shows classic installation of 2 directions, taking
the bed center as the datum line. The datum line should depart from the central line of the
machine room and close to the inner side of the machine room, so that there will be more space
for movement.
f) Installation of photograph: the bed feet mainly bear the positive pressure, so please just drill on
the ground according to the holes distance on the bed base and the layout of the machine room,
and then put in expanding bolt to fix.
g) Installation of pillar and other parts: take down the orbit bumper block on the bed side using
screwdriver, push the pillar into the orbit, install the X-ray tube and beam applicator one by one.
Position the console and electric box according to your project. Thus you can complete the
installation of the mechanic parts.

3. Electric Parts
Please start installation of electric parts after completing the installation of mechanic parts.
a) Connect the derivative wire of the electric box under the bed to the aerial socket on the shell of
the X-ray tube through bracket chain.
b) Connect the power cable to the power net, pay special attention to zero line and the other lines.
c) If you choose console, please connect the derivative wire of the console to the socket of the bed.
