1. Scope
This Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) has been prepared in accordance with the ATA iSpec 2200 standard,
established by the Air Transport Association. The purpose of the IPC is to list and illustrate replaceable
assemblies and detail parts applicable to the Williams International FJ44 Engine. It has been published
for the convenience of the user in identifying and ordering replacement parts and is not approved for any
other purpose. It is intended as a companion document, not a substitute, for the associated Maintenance
Manual, Engine Manual, or Service Bulletins which shall be considered the authority on maintenance
procedures.
This Illustrated Parts Catalog is primarily comprised of a series of detail parts lists and a pricing section.
In addition, the following listings are provided for the convenience of the user:

LIST OF ABBREVIATIONS

reproduced for your internal use only.
NOTE: When printed, this selection may not include all relevant data. It is the mechanic/repairman’s
responsibility to review all applicable service information documents in depth to ensure they understand
all the specific requirements for the operation concerned.
2. Numerical Index
The Numerical Parts Index is a list of all part number records compiled from the detail part listings.
The part numbers are arranged in ascending numeric order (0 to 9 and A to Z). Identical part numbers
are further sorted by CH-SE-SU and figure number. The following data columns are included to help
locate parts within the detail parts listings:
Part Number
Nomenclature
CH-SE-SU (Chapter-Section-Subject)
Figure Number
Item Number
The following are detailed descriptions of the data field columns used in the detail parts lists. The data
fields are described in order of presentation (left to right):
The figure number for each parts list is shown on the top line of each page. The figure number is
also displayed on the page footer, below the CH-SE-SU number.
An item number is assigned to each part or assembly shown in the detail parts list. This number
shows the order of presentation in the parts list and corresponds to the locator call-out on the
associated illustration. Item numbers are always listed in numeric order, although gaps are left in
the sequence to allow revisions to be made without renumbering. When item numbers are shared
between optional or older configuration parts which are visually alike, only the first item listed is
shown on the illustration. A "dash" symbol (-) is shown to the left of the item number for parts that
are not illustrated. In these cases, the illustration is applicable to both items.
This data field displays the basic part number for the item. If no part number is listed, this item is
either (1) listed and illustrated elsewhere in the manual, or (2) a maintenance grouping of parts
which has no separate part number. In either case, a reference is given in the "notes" portion of
the nomenclature column showing where this part or group can be found (notes are in a separate
column in the .pdf format IPC). Part number change letters are not shown in the part listings. The
basic part number dictates serviceability, regardless of the change letter. Part number markings
on parts are sometimes composed of the basic part number followed by the suffix “RWK” or
“RWKECRO”, plus an additional number designation. These types of part number markings are to
be considered functionally interchangeable with the basic part number.
Williams International drawing numbers and part numbers are identical. A numeric part
number is used exclusively to identify each Williams International part. Parts which have lost
their identity by being fabricated into a permanent assembly are not listed in the IPC.
Supplier components are identified by the supplier part number. If these items have also
been issued a Williams International five-digit part number, The WI part number is shown
along with the supplier code in the "notes" portion of the Nomenclature column (notes are in
a separate column in the .pdf format IPC).
D. Indenture Code
Indenture codes are displayed to show the relationship of each part to its next higher assembly.
The quantity of "period" symbols (.) in this column indicates the level of indenture to the top engine
assembly. Subordinate parts are grouped below the assembly part number and their relationship
can be identified by the indenture code. In cases where subordinate parts are not grouped below
their assembly, their next higher assembly (NHA) may be indicated in the "notes" portion of the
Nomenclature column (notes are in a separate column in the .pdf format IPC).
E. Nomenclature Column
The nomenclature for the item is shown in this column with the key noun listed first.
(2) Notes
Notes or remarks which are applicable to the item are presented below, and indented to, the
item nomenclature (notes are in a separate column in the .pdf format IPC). The following
types of data are presented in the Notes field:
“Replaced by (p/n)”. This indicates that a part or assembly has been replaced by the
specified part in production.
“Replaces (p/n)”. This indicates that a part or assembly replaces the specified part in
production.
"Superseded". This indicates there is an alternative part with an updated design being
incorporated by a service document.
“Option to (p/n)”. This indicates that a part is equivalent to and interchangeable with the
specified part. These parts are used interchangeably in production.
“Use only with (p/n)”. This indicates a one-way interchangeability or other configuration
limitation.
A listing of effectivity codes for engine models covered in this illustrated parts catalog is shown in
the Effectivity Code List section. When no effectivity code is listed in the EFFECT column, the
component applies to all engine models covered by this catalog.
Items show for reference that appear elsewhere in the IPC (and do not list a part number) carry the
letters "RF" in the Units per Assembly column. Items in a ’select from’ range, such as shims, are
shown having the same quantity as the nominal part.
4. Illustrations
Locator views are used on illustrations to direct the user to the location of items called out in other
chapters which may be required for maintenance.
Where space is not available to show all details on sheet 1 of an illustration, the remainder of the details
may be shown on a subsequent sheet or sheets of the same illustration.
H. To find the location of an item when only the part number is known:
(1) Enter the part number in the search window for the CD-ROM or browser (if applicable). Follow
the resulting links to the detail parts list(s) where the part number is used. For .pdf format, the
