    ASSURE MODEL INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN
    Learning Competency
    I. Analyze the learners
    The lesson is designed for the Grade 1 students. The class
    compromises of 26 students. There are 11 boys and 15 girls. It has
    been observed that the use of Instructional Materials make the lesson
    more successful.
    The students learn more on:

     Visual and auditory: 60% of the students


     Kinesthetic( physical activities):40% of the students

    II. State the objectives


    Through the varied discussion and activities; the students are
    expected to:
    a) Identify the correct order of the name of days and months
    b) Demonstrate the correct order of days and months
    c) Write and draw the correct order of days and months

    III. Select
    Strategies/method, Strategy: The strategy that will be used is Direct and Interactive
    Technology, Media, and Instruction where in the teacher will have interactive discussion to the
    Materials students and students will listen attentively and participate in the
    whole class discussion and small group activities. The teacher will
    use the visual materials like the Calendar, manila paper and
    flashcards for the students to see and be guided in the discussion.

    Materials:
    Calendar
    Manila Paper
    Flash cards
    Speaker/Bluetooth Speaker
    worksheets

    IV. Utilize Strategy,


    Technology, Media, And with the strategy:
    Materials  The teacher will use the manila paper to write the lyrics of the
    song ‘7 days of the week’ and ‘Months of the Year’ .The teacher
    will introduce the song to the learners and the learners will listen
    to the teacher and the music. After it, the learners will also sing
    the song.
     The teacher will use the speaker/bluetooth speaker for the
    learners to clearly hear the words and the music. And the will
    follow the beat afterwards.
     The calendar will be used as a reference by the teacher to show
    the class that there are names of the days and months and will
    show the proper and correct order of the days and months
     The flashcards of the names of days and months will be used by
    the teacher to show the class and the learners will repeat the
    pronunciation of the word and also for group activity
     There will be a given individual seat work for the students. And

    with the use of worksheets, the children will follow the instruction
    and answer it

    V. Require Learning
    Participation Individual activity: The learners then will be called upon individually
    to answer and fill out the missing parts of the activity. Each students
    will recite the correct ant right order of the names of the days and
    months. And then the teacher will give the learners a printed blank
    calendar and a printed names of the days and months. The learners
    will cut out the names of the days and months and will paste it to the
    calendar in a correct/right order.

    Group activity: The learners will grouped by the teacher in 4 groups.


    The students will be given a flashcards of the name of days and
    months. The learners are expected to arrange the right and correct
    order of the days and months and paste it to the board. The learners
    will then present their answers to the whole class and the teacher will
    check their answers if it is correct.

    VI. Evaluate and Revise


    The teacher will then evaluate the learners. The teacher will test their
    understanding of the lesson. The teacher will give the learners a final
    activity where in:
    The learners will be given a worksheets to be answered individually.
    Instruction: Arrange the correct order of days by numbering them from
    1 to 7 and the months by numbering them from 1to 12. And then
    Color the Words of your favorite day.
