advantage. We can offer competitive rates since we can process the import/export
directly and also we can acquire direct client through WCA inquiry.

Opportunities
-Since Fastlink is a member of WCA, agents/forwarders from all over the world can
inquire the services of fastlink directly from their country to the Philippines
-Due to the big companies and even projects handled by fastlink, it established the
market trust and because of this, it is easy to negotiate to acquire new client due to its
credentials.
-Since we are a PEZA Member, we are an accredited broker to process any
import/export shipment of PEZA Clients.

Threats
-Lack of connection/agent in Davao to process any import shipment in davao and even
if there is, our rates aren’t that competitive enough since we’ll still add up our mark up
for our services.
-Connection to customs official if there is any problem with the shipment.
-Nomination of broker from the origin
-Trucker Nomination from Forwarder

ASSESMENT OF THE COMPANY’S COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE


-MEPZA Clients would want to ship out the cargoes under fastlink if the Airport of
Destination is Manila since we have a Manila Branch. With this, we are competitive in
terms of processing rates.
-Processing of Permits (NTC, OMB, PNP Crame and many more) that requires an
approval from the Central office would be easier for us since we can directly file the
mentioned straight to the regulating agency’s office.
-Since Fastlink is handling large direct clients like mondelez, we can use that as an
advantage for other companies to entrust their shipments (Import/Export) to Fastlink.
-Being a member of WCA, we can acquire shipments from Agents all over the world if
they have a shipment from their country to any areas here in the Philippines.
Diagnosis for the Conducted Situational Analysis
Although Fastlink is committed to deliver the personalized service to its client, we
cannot achieve the full satisfaction of the client if there will be any delays. This
happened several times due to lack of manpower and the shipment is already reaching
its peak each day. In order to attain the goal for customer satisfaction, we should be
committed to our schedule. To do that, employees should not be only skilled but also we
should add more employees to look into the task to avoid burnout and increase
efficiency. And also, an improved marketing strategy should be implemented and not
justrely on the inquiries acquired from agents of WCA.
