Ql. Find all basic feasible solutions of the following system of equations
2x1 — x2 — x3 + x4 = 3, x, — x2 + x3 = 4, x, 0, x2 ?_ 0, x3 0, x4 > 0 (3 marks)

Q2. Use the following methods to solve the linear programming problem

Minimize (4x1 + 5x2 ) subject to x1 + x2 3, 2x1 + 4x2 = 8, x1 > 0, x 2 0.

(i) Graphical method. (3 marks)

(ii) Two-phase method (4 marks)

Q 3. State and Prove weak duality theorem. (3 marks)

Q 4. Write the dual of the linear programming problem

Max (x1 + 3x2 — 6x3 ) subject to xi — 2x2 + 5x3 5 1, + 2x2 —4,x1 — 5x2 + 3x3 = 10,
