    CASE STORY TITLE: Volunteerism

    Conflict Identification

    Until reading this, I thought all volunteers were the same. Both assumptions were
    wrong. Through volunteering, I discovered there are several types of volunteers. I also
    understood each word's multiple meanings. According to this, Jaja is a selfless
    philanthropist. Some people become so caught up in their objectives and priorities that
    they forget to help others. Nonetheless, people like Jaja are always prepared to aid a
    neighbor. My church and Youth for Christ group are full of people like them. We help the
    needy and bring younger generations closer to God by teaching them right from wrong
    and modeling good manners.

    Jaja's parents have always encouraged her to do good in the world and actively
    monitored her growth since she was a toddler. Her neighbors encouraged her to
    volunteer, which made her a kind and wonderful person. She anxiously awaited high
    school volunteer possibilities. As a law student, she tested her faith in others, which left
    an imprint. She also learned about law and rights.

    Jaja joined her mother on volunteer excursions as a child. She enjoyed community
    immersion and interacting with orphans. It made her more kind. She's a natural leader
    who loves to travel. Jaja was able to volunteer while in law school. That will encourage
    her to succeed. She thought helping the poor could change the world.

    Plan of Action

    I want to join a nonprofit that protects the environment and teaches illiterate kids. I'd
    like to teach youngsters English and Filipino through online kwentuhan sessions. These
    activities might improve kids' reading. My action plan shows how I can help others. I can
    best serve others by drawing them closer to God and engaging them in church activities,
    especially the young.
    Reflection

    I want to join an organization that promotes reading and environmental protection for
    impoverished kids. I could demonstrate my language skills and earn extra money by
    teaching youngsters to read and write in English and Filipino online. These classes boost
    kids' reading skills. My strategy will show that I can aid others. I can best serve others,
    especially youth, by drawing them closer to God and encouraging church involvement.
