Welcome  to  FIBA  LiveStats  
 

FIBA LiveStats is part of the new generation in Sports Administration Software.

Designed as a comprehensive electronic scouting package for basketball organisations


worldwide, FIBA LiveStats aims to fully computerize all facets of scoring and the collection
of detailed player statistics during matches. Essentially, it aims to provide administrators
and statisticians with an efficient and accurate method of scouting matches, and to provide
fans with unprecedented access to live match scores and statistics.

Some of FIBA LiveStats main features are:

• Simple software interface for recording scores/statistics as they happen


• Box Score, Play by Play and Shot Chart reporting including all official FIBA stats
• Other reporting including Plus-Minus Summary, Start List, Rotation Summary,
Combination Summary and the ability to print off an official scoresheet
• Free licensing as well as simple and free webcasting to anyone in the world
• Webcast renders automatically for mobile, tablet and PC devices
• Import, export and upload game data allowing for integration with FIBA Organizer
• Application available in English, French, Spanish, Italian; Webcast available in over
25 languages including Chinese, Korean and Portuguese
• League based CMS offers automatic Twitter score updates

FIBA LiveStats has been specifically tailored to allow for integration with the Internet. This
is a key feature of FIBA LiveStats as match scores, player statistics, and team statistics
are easily uploaded to the Internet via Webcasts that can be displayed and viewed by
members of your basketball community as matches unfold in real time.

LiveStats is easily integrated with our FIBA Organizer competition management system
and our SportingPulse websites to allow you to accrue match results and competition
statistics across a season, and publish LiveStats content online via website widgets.

Minimum  System  Requirements  
 

Processor: Intel Core Duo Processor above 1.5Ghz

Screen Resolution: 800 x 600 or higher

Browser: Post 2013 versions of Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer

Hard Drive Space: At least 25 MB Free

RAM: 2 GB

Operating System for Version 5 and above:

Windows Vista 64 bit

Windows 7 64 bit

Windows 8 64 bit

Note: Version 4 of FIBA LiveStats will operate on Windows XP however we recommend


that you upgrade your version of Windows if you are still running XP as it is no longer
supported by Microsoft. At this point you should also upgrade to FIBA LiveStats version 5.

Downloading  FIBA  LiveStats  

To operate FIBA LiveStats you must first download and register the software.

This is a simple process as follows:

If you have not already done so then open your Internet browser and go to www.fibaorganizer.com and
choose the download link for FIBA LiveStats.

Click the link to download the software. You will see a window similar to this. Choose to Save the file.

Note: You will need about 24 megabytes of space on your hard drive to save the installation file. Once
installed the software will take approximately 22 megabytes permanently on your hard drive.

Once the software is downloaded, click Open.

You may receive this warning – if you do then click OK.

Installing  FIBA  LiveStats  

You will be presented with this question. Click “Yes”.

The setup wizard will now be presented, click Next > to continue with the setup.

Complete your User Name and Organisation then click Next >

Ensure you accept the default location for FIBA LiveStats Installation and click Next >

Accept the default Start Menu Folder Shortcuts and click Next >

The Software is now ready to install, provided everything is ok for you then click Install.

The software will now install on your computer, and should just a few minutes. Once the installation has
been completed, you will see the following screen, click Finish to launch the application.

Registering  FIBA  LiveStats  

While FIBA LiveStats is a free application, and readily available to all Basketball Users, it must be registered
so that adequate ongoing support can be provided.

When you first downloaded the software, you were prompted to provide some brief details so that we could
determine your location. You also needed to provide an email address. An email has been sent to that
address containing your registration code.

The registration code is a 25-character code, generated randomly.

The “Next” button will not be available until you have entered your registration code. You cannot use the
software until the code has been registered. If you cancel prior to entering your code then you will not be
able to use FIBA LiveStats.

Right now you should enter your code and then click Next >

Note: (The code below is a sample code only, please do not enter this code into your version of FIBA
LiveStats – you must use the version provided to you via email).

If you receive the message below then you have successfully installed and registered FIBA LiveStats. If the
registration is unsuccessful then you must click back and re-check the registration key provided to you.

Congratulations! You are now able to use FIBA LiveStats!
