Strategies and key messages:

Australian community- strategy concepts.

I commit to highlight the importance of growing issue of homelessness in the country. I will
prove that the issue of homeless people will destroy the future of Australia and it could further
leads to poverty, health issue, criminal surge and unemployment.

I will do survey in the country to show the result to the residents of Australia that the country hits
a topmost list of homeless people in the world and it is our responsibility to tackle the issue.

Key messages:
 Every night, 1 out of 200 Australian find themselves unsafe, unsecure without proper
accommodation and food. Access to basic food and safe roof is one of the general human
rights that our country’s citizen is facing. Furthermore, one third of homeless people are
under eighteen years old in Australia. This is a matter of concern.
Report on Public relation plan. 8

 Causes of homelessness are poverty, health issue, unemployment, shortage of resources and
addiction, financial crises, sexual assault, social isolation and gambling. All these factors
indicate the condition of Australia and the future prospects as well.
 By helping the charity organizations with some donation will help those needy people with
no home. With their funds, the charity organizations connect with the homeless people and
provide secure place and food to them. In this way, within few years Australia will become
poverty free country without homeless people.

 The health issue, poverty, unemployment, will get eradicated from the country and Australia
will be ‘prosperous and happy country’.

The Australian governmental agencies:

My persuasive strategy concept is to bring the attention of Australian Government agency and
convey the message of help needed by homeless people of Australia.

I will convince them that these step of action will aligned with their self interest to eradicate the
issue of homelessness.

Key messages:
 By lending their helping hand in Australia will outreach the needy people, homelessness
prevention and diversion, rapid re-housing as well as establishment of emergency shelter.

 Their financial assistance will support the ‘targeted homeless programs’ which are designed
for needy people including the family with low-income generation.

 The enhancement of housing partnership programs will boosts the planning and coordination
with governmental agencies that supports building the residents, housing and urban
development.
Report on Public relation plan. 9

 With their support to multi-disciplinary programs offers extensive health care service,
substance abuse treatment, and outreach health services to homeless person. This will enable
the organization to establish the eligibility for housing and entitlement programs.

 Their initiation will assist ‘Basic Centre Program’ that helps the homeless children under 18
with proper food and place to live. Also, they try to reunite these children with their families.
 Their support will enlightened ‘Child Support Enforcement program’. It is the program run
by the agencies to administer the needy children. International intervention will also force the
governmental authority of Australia to improve access to community-based health system for
people below poverty line. It also underpins the agencies to make a provision of shelter to
poor family of victim, offers emergency transportation and child care.

Tactics:
 A social media promotion with the help of social media platforms to connect with target
audience to create the awareness of homelessness in Australia. The social media platforms
will raise the dire consequences of growing homelessness issue in the country and the
importance of eradicating the issue.

 A media release with detail information on survey results, growing concern of poverty, lack
of resources and many more. A media release will focus more on the issue and it will
highlight the ways to tackle the problem, such as fundraising campaign, donation drive, and
Child Support Enforcement program and so on.

 An information meeting with the community of Australia raising the concern over basic
human rights. A meeting with an Australian Government agency. will be conducted virtually
through webinars and seeking the mitigation method to these issue.
Report on Public relation plan. 10

 Sending the e-mail to each Australian Government agency. and residents of Australia who
are interested in making donations. These mails will include every aspects of homeless issue
and its impact on overall dimension. The e-mail insights the role of them in such
humanitarian works.

 An online survey will be conducted among the citizen of Australia emphasizing the basic
human rights. This will encompass how the pandemic further worsened the situation and the
current approach is effective enough or it is too fragmented as it hinder the efforts to get
people into stable housing.

Evaluation:

The Australian community:

 I will demonstrate the result whether I have attained 90% of my informal objectives within 1
months or not with the help of online survey through social media platforms and telephonic
survey. I will try to produce quantifiable result to measure them and to see the achievements
of my informal objectives.
The following result will indicate that how much the Australian citizen are concern about
basic human rights, homelessness and poverty issue in the country. It will also reflect that
how many citizens empathises the growing prosperity of Australia.

 Initially, I will send e-mail regarding the fundraising programs, charity events to each
community. After that I will also invite them through telephonic survey and ask them to
make some donations. These will show if have achieved my persuasive objectives of
convincing at least 80% of Australian community within one month to support the
eradication of homelessness and poverty issue.

The Governmental agencies:

 I will measure my achievements of informal objectives through interviews and webinars with
potential international targeted groups and evaluate their reactions to our briefing sessions. I
will examine if I have become 100% successful in maintaining reputation of charity and
raising awareness about growing concern of homelessness.

 At the same time I can check the result of my persuasive objectives through e-mails and
telephonic sessions with international bodies by 2 months and quantify the results.
Report on Public relation plan. 13

Therefore, to conclude this comprehensive result will make me clear that how many citizens and
international agents supports to homelessness programs in Australia. Henceforth, it will also help
me to assume the expected donations that will be implemented for housing projects.
