    1.The junction boxes shall be constructed from cold rolled


    sheet of suitable thickness and shall be made water tight
    enclosure by means of rubber gasket.

    2.The junction boxes shall be designed for wall/stand


    mounting and shall be complete with all necessary
    provisions for fixing and shall be free from all wrap and
    twist.

    3.Access to all components and connection shall be


    available from the front.

    4.The front of junction boxes shall be in the form of hinged

    Incoming cable entry shall be provided from left side with
    suitable gland plates of minimum 2.5mm thickness for
    following:
    1. Incomer cable - as shown in the drawing.

    Outgoing cable entry shall be provided from bottom with


    suitable gland plates of minimum 2.5mm thickness for
    following:
    1.Outgoing cable - as shown in the drawing.

    Sufficient space shall be provided for accommodating of

    10 Painting and surface finish. RAL 7004 (85 ) micron avg
    JB shall be fabricated with 2.5 mm cold rolled sheet steel
    enclosure.
    Door cover shall be fabricated with 2.0 mm cold rolled
    sheet steel enclosure.
    11 Sheet material thickness.
    Two nos. earthing terminal for connecting earthing flat of
    12 Earthing points size 25mm x6mm Cu shall be provided.
    1. The bus bar support shall be of moulded glass,
    reinforced thermosetting plastics (or) Fiberglass
    Reinforced Plastic (FRP) insulators.

    Each JB shall be of following dimension:-


    1. Depth : To be provided by vendor
    2.Height : To be provided by vendor
    3.Width : To be provided by vendor
    4. JB should have proper arrangement at back side for
    mounting on C-channel with nut bolts.

    14 Dimensional requirements of JB. GA dwg. to be provided by the vendor.


    15 Anchor,bolt with nut washers and lock nut. To be provided as per requirement.
