The Annual Business Meeting and Luncheon was held on

duced Bill Grieves, the incoming President, who in turn
introduced the new Board members. Bill Grieves announced
that next year’s symposium would be hosted by the Houston
Chapter and will be held June 5th- 8th at the Astroworld
Hotel, Houston, Texas. One hundred eighty-seven members
attended this function.
The social aspect of this symposium began with an “Ice-

Grand Ballroom from 8 P.M. to midnight, Wednesday, June
9th. Cocktails, two hors d’oeuvre courses, and dancing to two

logging truck and a drilling rig highlighted the hors d’oeuvre
table, and over 600 people enjoyed the evening. The second

Following this gala affair many of the attendees journeyed
