INTRODUCTION
The Movilift nVOICE board is a programmable multi-parallel voice synthesizer for pre-recorded floor audio
messages reproduction, in 9 languages. All messages are pre-recorded on an easily removable micro SD
card and updates are possible via PC.
We do not recommend removing or inserting the SD card when the board is switched on!

WORKING MODE

WORKING Description
MODE
1 line/floor Each input is for each floor. If more inputs active in same moment or any input is activate
display shows ‘ - - ‘‘
Binary Use only 5 inputs to calculate floor number in binary code (range from 0 to 31). Input 6 is
used for sign.
Binary Neg Use only first 5 input, denied logical, to calculate floor number in binary code (range from
0 to 31). Input 6, denied, are used for sign.
BCD Use first 4 input to calculate the unit digit in binary code and input 5 to calculate the ten
digits. Input 6 is for sign
GRAY Use only first 5 input to calculate floor number in GRAY code (range from 0 to 31). Input 6
is for sign
Floor number messages, Gong and any next direction messages are activated on the activation of the
TRIGGER signal. Service messages are always active.
CODIFICATION
As said previously the operative modes binary, Binary denied, BCD and GRAY use 5 inputs to calculate
the number of floor, from 0 to 31. The table shows how to change the encoded value by different
operative modes.
The input 1, which we will call A, is the less important. The input 4, which we will call E, is the most
important.

PROGRAMMING MENU
The card has a voice menu for programming:
Press button P1 to enter the programming menu and advance through the various submenus, with the P2
button you enter the submenus and confirm.
For example, pressing P1 consecutively will listen in sequence to the various submenus such as Language,
Volume, etc., pressing P2 after Language you enter the submenu, with P1 you advance in the selected
submenu and you will hear Italian, English, etc. Then press P2 to select and store the new value.
The memorization is confirmed by two beeps. The changes are immediately active.
If no buttons are pressed for more than 10 seconds, the programming menu is exited.
To reset the card to the factory default values, press and hold P2 for more than 5 seconds during any
operating mode. Two beeps will confirm the reset.
The Demo function remains active even after a power off and on, so to terminate the demo and return to
normal operating mode it is necessary to set the parameter to No ..

DIAGNOSTICS
When the board is switched on, the red LEDs RDY and ERR light up; a short tone is heard to check the
amplifier and the loudspeaker. If the SD card is correctly recognized, the firmware version is announced. If
the SD card is not read correctly, the two LEDs remain lit and the card is locked.
The card has two LEDs with the abbreviations RDY and ERR that help the user in diagnostics and
programming.

BACKGROUND AUDIO
It is possible to play audio messages, for example music or advertising messages, when the lift is in use, and
exactly when the up or down arrows are active.
In addition, the messages continue for a few seconds when the arrows are turned off. When it is necessary
to give a plan or service message, the background is interrupted, to then recover from the point in which it
was interrupted.
Background sound is stored in the micro SD card in the "BkGr" folder. It consists of one or more files with
the extension ".wav" with the characteristics described above. A maximum of 100 files can be entered. The
files must be named starting from "00.wav" up to "99.wav" and must not necessarily have a progressive
number.
The operation of adding / editing / deleting files on the micro SD card can be easily performed by the User
with a normal PC.
Autonomous management (Stand-alone)
Electronic circuit – Sensor
The board nVoice P in sensor Mode (stand-alone) is a universal decoder. It works alone by two
N.O. magnetic sensors. Audio will be activated with GND signal on AL.
FUNCTIONING
The selector follow the elevator movements controlling correctly the floor number and the gong
trigger. The signal A (top sensor) and B (bottom sensor) must be wired on the input 0-1 on the
board.
• Position two N.O. (normally opened) magnetic sensors vertically on a mounting bracket fixed
on cabin roof. The minimal distance between the sensors must be 40mm. (we recommend
120mm magnets).
• Connect the sensors on the inputs “0 (A sensor)- 1 (B sensor)” of the board.
• Position two magnets on the guide in every floor, so both sensors are decommitted with the
cabin. The magnets distance compared to floor, establish the point which the board refresh the
floor number.
• Add a third magnet on the main floor to rephasing the system (default is the lower floor, usually
0) so it commit both cabin sensors.
• Between two magnets must need a minimal distance of 80mm.
• The gong trigger is automatic: when both sensors crossing the magnet for at least 0.6 seconds,
the cabin is in low speed and so is near the next stop. The trigger has the duration of 2
seconds. Note: this signal is available only in serial mode.
