can type with. It is made by the computer company Microsoft. Its purpose is to
allow users to type and save documents. Similar to other word processors, it has

same time.

It imports data from another source such as Excel and them uses that to replace
placeholders throughout the message.

STEPS ON HOW TO USE MAIL MERGE IN MS WORD:


1. Open an existing Word document, otherwise create a new one.
2. Choose what kind of merge you want to run.
3. Select the recipients.
4. Connect your Excel spreadsheet and Word Document
5. Edit Recipient List.
6. Add placeholders.
7. Preview the result.
8. Finish Mail Merge
*The teacher will demonstrate the steps of Mail Merging step by step.

Developing mastery Students will be given time to practice the process of Mail Merging to master the
steps.
