    Reflection Paper

    The Mid Year Culminating Activity 2023 of Dumangas National High School was conducted last
    February 13-17, 2023. This activity was manage by Senior High Students and teachers to show
    our works with regards to academic aspects. This one week activity is very extraordinary
    experience for us. We encounter a lot of new things like making our 3D model in biology, custome
    for our cheerdance, making our own gown and prepared for our exhibit.

    On the first day of our activity, we


    showcase our talent in dancing. The battle
    for cheerdance competition started and I
    felt nervous for the first time because I'm
    one of the flyer and I'm afraid to make
    mistake because I don't want to slipped
    and fell. All the audience applause on our
    performance and say the word 'amazing',
    we couldn't help but to smile and celebrate
    because our hardship on practising our
    dance and mastering every step was
    finally paid off.

    On the second day, the SSG prepared many


    booths to celebrate the 'Blast of Love: A
    Valentine's Day Special'. Many students joined
    our booths and watch our live band. As the
    Valentine's Day Special was on going, the
    culminating activity continued, the exhibit for
    CPAR Photography & Video Presentation,
    Launching Food Demo of ABM strand and
    Speech Choir of Grade 11 students. After my
    duty on SSG, I visited a first in the ABM room
    where there's food for free! You just need to visit
    their room ask for paper then get a free food but
    wait after that you need to fill up their paper
    about the taste of their products. After that, I
    visited all the exhibit room and write some shout out on their free sticky papers then post it on their
    freedom wall.

    Then, our CREST was scheduled on
    Wednesday. We prepared an exhibit for our
    biology and chemistry. I was late that day, the
    cutting of ribbon was finally done and the
    exhibit and experimentation already start. My
    group mates tasked me to explained our
    biology 3D model about 'Cell Respiration'.
    Explaining our topic was tiring but I really
    enjoyed this things. I appreciated those
    students who want to asked, listen, and learn
    about our topics.

    On the fourth day, it was the day for TVL


    Product Exhibit, Auto/Motoshow and Research
    Presentation and Defense. I just watch the
    Auto/Motoshow on the Dumangas NHS Senior
    High - Iloilo live then I go to school after lunch to
    support my classmate on their Research
    Defense.

    Lastly, our Runway Challenge was scheduled on Friday. This is the day where the highlight is our
    different style. We use different materials to create our own gown with the touch of contemporary
    art. My gown is an off shoulder mesh ball gown with touch of embroidered flowers in the upper part
    of the gown. The gown was in color nude pink because it was inspired of vintage.

    This one week activity is a way for other people to know and see how creative the SHS students
    are. This activity was successful for all students and teachers. As a grade 12 learners, it is very
    fulfilling to become a part of this culminating activity that let us know more about our hidden talent.
