the mixture in
containers and hang on
fruit trees, vegetable
trellises

Place some near

vegetable plots, corn
fields
12.Seed Treatment Process

In 3 liters of unchlorinated water, mix 2 tbs coconut

vinegar, 2 tbs FPJ and 2 tbs OHN.

Place weak seeds in a net bag and soak in the mixture

for 4 – 8 hours. Plant immediately before they dry.

The seeds will develop thick cotyledons making it

immune to worms. They will also have good root
development making them more resistant to diseases
Seed Treatment Process continued:

Do not water the seedlings for 2 days before

transplanting.
Mix 3 liters of unchlorinated water with 2 tbs
coconut vinegar, 2 tbs FPJ and 2 tbs OHN. Soak
the seedlings in this solution for 15 seconds and
immediately transplant the seedlings.
Sprinkle the remaining mixture on plants after
they have been transplanted.

13. Indigenous Microorganism 5 (IMO 5)

How to make IMO 5

• Make IMO 1 (rice mold)(see IMO process) and then

IMO 2 by adding molasses 1:1 ratio to the rice mold.
Place in a plastic container and ferment for 7 days.
• IMO 3 – harvest a liter of liquid and add 10 liters of
unchlorinated water and pour the solution over 100
kgs of rice bran (D1). Mix thoroughly, cover the
mixture and leave it for 3 days. Temperature will
rise to 36-40 degrees Celcius and molds will appear
on top.
How to make IMO 5 continued:

• IMO 4 – on the 4th day take 100 kgs of clean soil

from the farm and mix thoroughly with IMO 3 cover
again and leave overnight.
• IMO 5 – add 200 kgs of chicken manure to IMO 4,
mix thoroughly and make a pile 3 feet high. Cover
with plastic or jute sacks and leave for 7 days.
During the 7 days water or spray around the pile
daily a mixture of FPJ 1:500 and FAA 1:500.
