I see myself in 5-10 years building a grounded career in capital markets and the financial services
industry. It’s where I have set my direction already with some of previous experiences in
consultancy, most recently, and my qualifications from CFI that I’m doing. And I think this role woud
give me a full pciure veie
Overview of my skills: easy. Experiecen working in a fast paced environment- yes. Managing multiple
deadlines – yes. Working as part of a cohesive team – skills sharing. Dealing with challenging
stakeholders – ok.
I’m interested in how Worldpay can be seamlessly be integrated in the FS market. Linkes between
market,s consumers, merchants. Strength and security of the conncetion. Expertise, solutions and
products to advance the movement of money – from payment, to capital markets.
Processing platform – I think this would be great as I saw from my time at Qurosus, solutions such as
this were able to find. Portfolio performance, demographics,
3) capital markets – soling regulatory challenges with one vendor solution partner. The soutuion
they offer is back-office solutions, to preent trade failures, enhance trade settlements, and thus
avoid any fines or enalites.
With Worldplay, can tap into wider markets in the global sacel. The merger between Fis Global and
Worlplay – now the relevant stakeholder, whether it be from the buy side or the sell side, can now
have access to the same digital cloud service to enhance their offefricng to their clients
Worldplay solution –clearing , trade settlements – that’s the FIS Post-Trade Services (PTS) Team , the
Operations/Middle Office and Back-Office Worldplay solution
How much knowledge/experience is requird to really understand the multilevel understanding of FIS
(Fidelity Information Serivces) Clearind Dervitiates prodct? From a high-level, I undetand what it’s
about. Then also, eventually rovide consultancy to clients.
I’m doing my qualifications in FMVA and CMSA- which has a nice mix of coding, with VBA Excel,
modelling of business valuations, budgets, forecasts, M& A acitivity etc – and then also, delving
deeper into the bond markets,e quites, options, swpas, derivatives and so forth.
Job role:
The Team
- FIS Post-Trade Services (PTS) – innovative FIS fintech business, providing derivatives clearing
brokers a complete set of operational and technology services for all non-differentiating
post-trade operations, application and infrastrucuture requirements.
- These services are standardized and mutualised across customers and built on current and
future versions of software
- PTS – provides clearing, margining, brokerage and reconcilaitions operations
- FIS Cleared Derivatives is a brand new, single technology, multi-asset, post-trade processing
platform. This new platform will be used to replace existing solutions (GMI, ClearVision, Ubix
and other related products)
Training
CSDR: CSD-R, a measure instanted in European securities settlement industry to harmonize timeing
and standards of conduct with trade settlements.
