Role reporting into: LEAD SDET, Thunderstorm
Location: Bangalore, India Key Responsibilities ● Works with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle. ● Writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing including performance and Identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects in the product. ● Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release. ● Collaborating with developers to resolve defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards. ● Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and implementation. ● Keeping up-to-date with new testing techniques, technologies, and tools, and recommending improvements to the testing process.
You will excel at this role, if you have
● Strong Experience in Python, web services, HTML, XML, and experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or GCP. ● Strong experience in Agile development methodologies and utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, and PowerMock for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. ● Experience in manual testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis. ● Experience with Open Source Performance Testing Tools like Locust or JMeter. Also, experience with Golang, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. ● Hands-on experience in automating Android and IOS supported applications using Appium is a Plus. ● Streaming media Industry experience or Server side Ad Insertion industry experience is desired. ● Experience in non-functional testing like Performance testing, Security testing is a plus
