Topic: pets

1. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of keeping a pet?

Having a pet in our lifetime is a wonderful thing. It can listen to everything we say,
though it can't respond, but it does seem to calm us down. Pets also assist us in
becoming more emotional individuals since they are like small children who
constantly cling to us. In addition, keeping a pet can teach us vital things,
especially for young pet owners. Training our pet may teach us to be patient and
understanding. On the other hand, when we have a pet, we must devote more of
our time to them and assume greater responsibility. Besides, the death of a beloved
pet might elicit significant sentiments of bereavement. Perhaps our pets are only
pals to us, but to them, the owner is the entire universe.

2. Do you think that dangerous animals should be kept as pets?

I think that is impossible as it could be against the law. Many states, counties, and
city laws make it illegal to keep wild animals as pets. Keeping wild animals as pets
can sometimes be risky. Many are capable of biting, scratching, and attacking their
owners, children, or visitors. Furthermore, wild animals can infect humans with
diseases that are harmful or lethal. Rabies, sepsis, herpes virus, salmonella, polio,
tuberculosis, and other diseases are among them. Parasites such as intestinal worms
and protozoa can also be found in wild animals. It might appear at any time and
harm humans. For these reasons, both people should avoid keeping carnivores as
pets.

3. What can children learn from looking after a pet?

Pets brighten our lives with their amusing behaviors and unconditional devotion.
Pets educate youngsters about responsibility, compassion, trust, coping with loss,
respect, and loyalty, as well as helping them create self-esteem. Respect, patience,
and social skills are all important qualities. More than that, caring for dogs teaches
youngsters to sympathize, share, and love others, as well as lower their chance of
autism. In short, it’s safe to say having an animal who has grown up with children
is beneficial.

4. Do you think it will be popular for people to keep pets in the future?
Nowadays, most people choose an animal with whom they enjoy, share things, and
live. As a result, I believe that in the future, an increasing number of people will
own a pet and treat it as if it were a family member. They appreciate, care for, and
treat it as if it were their own child. And I believe that in the not-too-distant future,
the number of abandoned and abused animals will decline, and instead, animals
will be cherished and valued in the same way as humans are.

Topic: zoos

1. Are there any differences between zoos in the past and zoos today?

Zoos have changed a lot over time. In the past, zoos used to be locations where
only animals were kept for the enjoyment of people. Previous zoos lacked animal
diversity, and animals were not adequately raised due to a lack of scientific
development. Aside from the awful housing conditions, animals were forced to lie
on the chilly concrete floor. Nowadays, animals have had big and large grounds for
resting, playing, and hiding in modern zoos. These areas are created to
accommodate the animal's habitat. Today animals are looked after to a certain
extent so that they can grow and develop in the best possible conditions. Present
zoos are likewise becoming increasingly diversified in terms of animal diversity.

2. Do you think zoos are a good idea?

In my opinion, it is good for the following reasons. We can teach about wildlife
through going to the zoo and at the same time teach us what we can do to protect
them. Besides, zoos also contribute greatly to scientific research. In addition, a zoo
is also a place full of knowledge and experience to save endangered animals in the
wild. All in all, I think zoos are beneficial in various ways.

3. How can we protect endangered animals in zoos?

We’re all aware that the earth is home to numerous endangered animals. As a
result, I think the government should strengthen the laws prohibiting and harshly
punishing people who hunt endangered animals. Furthermore, deforestation is a
severe problem that has resulted in the loss of habitat for these species, putting
them on the verge of extinction. That is why woods are protected since they are
home to hundreds of wildlife. Last but not least, it is critical to promote community
awareness about the value of endangered species and to work together to safeguard
the forest. If we all work together, I believe the problem will be solved shortly.

4. Will zoos continue to be important in the future?

From my point of view, zoos will exist for many years to come and will continue
to expand. The proposed zoo's mission is to become a center for conservation and
education. Modern zoos attempt to give animals a comfortable living environment
as well as a sense of security. Botanical gardens will share their knowledge and
encourage others to improve. Zoos will become even more vital in the future as it
provides a number of economic, recreational, and educational benefits.
