Sassy: "To me, this brow shape is reminiscent of Jane Russell; a brow that is thicker in front with a short

tail and says, Look at me, I'm unique, not shy, a little edgy and a little outrageous!" says Marcelli. Sassy brows add a lot of personality to the face, and can be a great complement to bangs.
Alluring: "This brow draws you in. Beautifully sculpted, well proportioned and perfect in every way. This template reminds me of the Sophia Loren look -- a bit exotic and a bit mysterious," says Marcelli. The fullness of this brow would be nicely balanced by an equally sexy nude or soft pink lipcolor. Confident: "A dramatic high arch says, I am someone to be reckoned with and am sure of myself. Don't underestimate me just because I'm beautiful. This reminds me of a Marilyn Monroe-like brow," observes Marcelli. A touch of sheer-sheen cream eye shadow right below the arch and blended outward will highlight the exposed brow bone of this shape for a glamorous look. Timeless: "This is always in style: a thin, sculpted brow shape that flows with a graceful look. This brow will always draw you in. An example of a timeless star is Grace Kelly. The look is effortless, yet always pulled-together," says Marcelli. The long, sweeping angle of this brow provides the perfect balance to a strong lip like a classic deep red.

YOUR BROW SHAPE To determine where the brows should begin, hook the end of the brush around the edge of your nostril and hold it parallel to the side of your nose. Where the brush meets your brow is where your brow should start. Anything short of that should be left alone to grow or be filled in with a pencil. Anything beyond that can be tweezed. Next, angle the brush slightly so that it is on a diagonal from the nose to the outside edge of the pupil. This is where the highest point of your brow, or arch should appear. Finally, extend the tip of the brush to the outside corner of the eye. This is where your brow should end. Most people s brows will fall short of this point. No worries, a little pencil or that Rogaine tip works as a quick or long-term fix. TWEEZING Before you start plucking away, brush the brow hairs upward and look to the top of the brow to find your shape. The top of the brow line is naturally defined and will act as your guide for tweezing along the base of the brow. For this reason, it s best to leave this area alone since removing the wrong hair could drastically alter or diminish your natural shape. Conversely, if you do not have a strong natural arch at the top begin with, do not try to create one at the bottom. The goal is get the both brows lines to mirror one another. Attempting to create an arch at the base of the brow, especially too close to the center of your face, can create the look of hook brows. Not cute. To start tweezing, hold the skin taut and pluck the hairs in the direction they grow, removing one row of hair at a time from beginning to end. You ultimately want to create a clean continuous line that gradually thins from start to finish. Be sure to step back from your mirror to check your brows periodically for symmetry. Once the basic shape is defined, remove any obvious strays that appear between and above the brow line. Now put down the tweezers. Remember: less is more in the brow department. Once you over-pluck, you re stuck. Besides, a fuller, simple shape is more natural and flattering TRIMMING Next, brush the hairs up and into place. Using your scissors trim the excess length from each brow as carefully as possible. Be ultra-conservative with this step and constantly brush the brows up before you snip since it s very easy to do a hack-job on oneself. If you re uncomfortable with this process, have someone else do it for you (someone you trust) since it s a little awkward to execute on both sides

FILLING IN Nobody has naturally perfect brows. Whether you were born with sparse brows that need a fix or have full ones that you want to take to the editorial level, there is a way to naturally fill them in. All it takes is a pencil, a groomer and some clear brow gel. You ll want to select a pencil that contains some wax and is a shade slightly lighter than you natural brow hair. Do not use an eyeliner since they contain too much pigment and will appear too obvious. Furthermore, liners won t adhere as well to the skin. Ideally, try to find a brow pencil with a brush on the other end, otherwise use your separate groomer for blending.
Starting at the base of the brow, use the pencil to fill in any sparse areas with short, feathery strokes. Apply in the direction of hair growth. The key here is not to create a definite line, but to create the appearance of hair. Brush through the hairs every so often to soften and blend the pigment throughout the brow. If your arch tends to collapse at the top outer edge of the brow, use the pencil to fill in that area as well. This will create a lifting effect. Be sure to blend. You do not want to see any obvious lines, just shadows. This is can be a frustrating process and does require some practice. Do not give up. You ll get it. When all else fails, blend. Your groomer can act as an eraser for any mistakes .

Every makeup artist I have ever spoken to says eyebrows are the most important facial feature. All angles of the face are determined by the brows: they can lift the eyes; narrow or widen the face. While there is a lot of opportunity here, it is important to let your natural shape be your guide. It is probably close to optimal for your face and anything too drastic can look unnatural. Here are some techniques from our team of fabulous makeup artist educators.
Basic Shaping:

The inner edge of the brow should line up with the outside of the corresponding nostril (A). The highest point of the arch should be just at the outer edge of the eyeball. (B)

The outer brow should taper off to a point that intersects with an imaginary line drawn from the outer nostril past the outer edge of the eye (C), and you thought geometry wouldn't be useful later in life! It sounds complicated, but just follow the above drawing.

Advanced techniques:

You can lift an experienced eye with strategic eyebrow shaping! With an experienced eye, the lid has a tendency to be heavy. Extending the brow down to the "D" line can drag the lid down and make the eyes look tired. Instead, try feathering the brow upward and out from the arch to just above the outer corner of the eye (E). Please keep it natural, we don't want to create wings here! To minimize the curve of a round face, direct the outer third of the brow towards the top of the ear. If the face is square, direct it toward the middle of the ear. This helps balance the face. If the face is long, keep the brow more straight across, directing it above the ear. An oval face already looks balanced, but to enhance this harmony, you can direct the outer third towards the ear lobe. Eyebrow makeup No matter how full and perhaps even unruly your eyebrows are (hello!), a little eyebrow makeup works wonders for your look. At the very least groom them. Every morning when you do your makeup, run a Deluxe Spoolie Brush through them (it works much better than an old toothbrush, believe me I have tried them both). A bit of eyebrow wax will hold them in place beautifully. Most brows have some thin places that need to be filled in. Try the brow powders in our new Bitty Brow Kit, any appropriate shade of PurePressed Eye Shadow or a soft shade of Pencil (Taupe is a favorite). Comb the brows down and apply the color directly to the sparse patches on the skin. If the brow needs lengthening, apply the color with light feathery strokes. Brows can be colored and held in place in one step with PureBrow Gels. Lightly stroke the wand into the hairs, using a little at a time. Smooth with your Deluxe Spoolie Brush.

Tips: If you want to preview a new brow look before you commit to plucking, use White or Taupe Pencil (depending on your skin tone) to color over the places you intend to pluck out. Beware of over plucking, as too-thin brows can actually age you (gasp)! Nobody's eyebrows are totally symmetrical. Be careful of using stencils, as they can make your brows look unnatural. The hair and brow color should match pretty closely. PureBrow Gels can change the color of your brows, if you want. When my blonde sister goes very strawberry, she reaches for Auburn; or try the Bitty Brow Kit in Blonde. For silver-haired lovelies, try Longest Lash Mascara in Slate Grey on your brows. Or if you prefer powder, try Slate Brown PurePressed Eye Shadow.

Let s talk about brows bushy, thin, barely there, and everything in between. This one is a bit long so grab a seat and a snack and let s luxuriate. Your eyebrows frame your face and believe it or not can help improve the appearance of your skin AND make you appear more youthful. Plus, what s a fabulous eye look without equally fabulous brows? (hint: the answer is nothing).
But what s the downside to not having beautiful brows let me first warn you that if you have little children in the room right now to

put them to bed and brace yourself as you continue reading -yeah, it s that scary. The downsides of not having beautiful brows are: *looking much older than you actually are *facial features could appear much larger or much smaller than they actually are *complexion can appear to have lost some of its brilliance your brows are everything. Brow shapes have evolved over time and with changes in fashion. There was a time when thin was in when it came to eyebrows, but nowadays a thicker brow is the bee s knees.

The ideal shape of your brow depends on your face shape. As well as spacing between your eyes: Close-set eyes: make sure your brows aren t too short you definitely want your tail as it helps make the eyes appear more evenly spaced Wide-set eyes: leave more hair in the inner parts of your brow (though not as far as a unibrow) to visually close up some of the space in between your eyes
There are several methods in which to achieve your ideal brow shape Tweezing: can take out one to a few hairs out at a time, is relatively inexpensive and quick, but can be painful and often leads to overtweezing. Great for quick clean-ups. I love using slanted tip Tweezerman tweezers in conjunction with a pointed tip one perfect for the smallest, most stubborn hairs. Waxing: warm wax is placed on the brow area using strips of cloth to remove several hairs at a time. Best performed at a salon or with a trained eye and hand. Not ideal for those with sensitive skin or those using dermatologist prescribed skin care treatments like RetinA. I used to only get my brows waxed about five years ago, but my favorite person moved and I had several bad experiences: skin getting ripped off with the wax, breakouts, misshaped brows, and one genius got the wax in my bangs. Razor: a tool that looks somewhat like a shaving razor is used to remove stray hairs and sculpt your brows. The razor can be super sharp so be sure you re very comfortable with this method first. Threading: a method which has origins in India and other areas of Asia. Actual thread is used to remove entire rows of hair from the brow area. It s more precise and not as painful as waxing (although the first few times can be doozies). This is my preferred method of grooming my brows (thanks to the five year relationship I have with my brow stylist Rajni over at Aveda Natural Look in Queens Center Mall). I always recommend getting your brows professionally groomed at least once a month (I get mine done every 1-2 weeks because I m a brow fiend lol) and then if you can t get back to the salon, keep them up with careful tweezing in between appointments.

What if you weren t blessed with thick eyebrows? Or even little to no brows at all? You can fake it by filling in the sparse hairs with: Brow mascara/gel: comes in hues to closely match your hair color and is in mascara form. Use this to both tint and keep brows in place. Take the wand and carefully use it to comb through your brows. Use a disposable mascara wand to remove any excess. Clear brow mascara works wonders on keeping unruly brow hairs in place. Try MAC Brow Set.
Brow pencil: using quick, hair-like strokes, you can fill in the sparse areas with this. The idea is not to simply draw on brows (a la Marlene Dietrich), but to mimic the way brow hairs look. To blend the pencil in with your natural brows, use a clean, disposable mascara wand to comb through the pencil. Try MAC Eye Brow Pencil. Brow powder: can be as simple as a matte eyeshadow close to your hair color applied with an angled brush OR you can try a trick used by some eyebrow hair-challenged girls and apply a bit of Rogaine to the area with a Q-tip. I ve never tried this, but some people swear by it. Proceed with caution, but see your dermatologist first.

To add some drama to your brows, sculpt them with your preferred brow makeup item and add a highlight on the brow bone a la Rihanna (above). A highlight shade can be a sheer shimmery gold or silver color or a matte eyeshadow 2-3 shades lighter than your skin tone. The idea is to create a contrast between the two areas. For even more drama like the brows sported by Lala, Kim K, and Kelly Rowland
use a cream concealer 2-3 shades lighter than your skin tone (try MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer) on your brow bone and brow set about 1 shade lighter than your hair color on your brows. Fill in additional sparse areas with brow pencil as well as define the area where the brow hair meets the brow bone.

Instructions: Look at your eyebrows. They already have a definite shape to them whether their full or thin, curved or arched, etc. You want to be able to appreciate and work with the eyebrows that are on your face. Changing your eyebrow shape all together may do more worse than good. 2 If you do want to change your eyebrow shape, you will want to know the right shape for your face. Angular Eyebrow- round face Rounded Eyebrow- Large eyes and/or wide forehead Low Arched- Small Forehead because it will add length to your face. High Arched- High Forehead, this will help balance out your face. Close Eyes- Pluck more on the inner corners Wide Eyes- Pluck less on the inner corners 3 Line your stick from the middle of your nose, to the highest point of the beginning your eyebrow. Mark a dot here. This is where your inside edge starting point will lie. 4 Now line the stick from the middle your nose to the out most edge of your eye. Mark a dot here. Your eyebrow is going to end at this point. 5 Lastly take the stick and measure it to the highest point of your eyebrow. Mark a dot here for this is where your arch will lie. 6 Now you want to tweeze hairs that do not fit in to the natural arch of your eyebrow. 7 You should now have the perfect shape to your eyebrow

Locate three pivotal points along your brow line by following this quick exercise: Point A: Hold a pencil or hte handle of a brush vertically agaisnt the side of your nose, noticing where it meets the brows. That is where your brow should begin Point B: Hold the pencil against your nostril and move it diagonally across the outer half of the iris of your eye. Notice where the pencil meet the brow. This is the best place for the peak of your arch. if you tweeze from point A to point B, tapering the line slightly thinner toward the peak, you will create the ideal shape for your brow. Point C: Again, place the pencil against your nostril and extend it diagonally to the outer corner of your eye. Where it meets the brow is the best place for your brow end. If you tweeze from point B to point C, tapeirng the line even thinner, you will create the best brow shape for your face. Well-groomed eyebrows are a beauty must. You should embrace your natural brow shape, because no matter how much you tweeze, you cannot turn them into something they are not. Some brows are naturally curve into a gentle arch; others grow straight across. The only way you can turn a straight brow into a curved one is by tweezing it away completely and drawing in a new one. But do not try this at home - or anywhere else ! You'll find a simple, better way to find the best shape for your brows on the next few lines... Before we begin, gather your tools together. You will need a pais of tweezers, a brow brush, a small pair of scissors and a white eye pencil. Now let's evaluate your brows. First, are they too dense? Eyebrows that are too dense can be softenend either by trimming them or lightening the color. To trim them, simply brush them up and snip any stray hair that extened past the upper brow line. Next, brush them down and snip any unruly hairs that extended past the lower brow line. Often, brow hairs are actually longer than they appear because the tips of the hairs are light in color and when they reach a certain lenght they tend to curl. By trimming them, you trim away some of the density and that slight surl so that the hairs lay down more neatly. It's important to remember that is you need to trim your brows, it should be done before you start to tweeze. Otherwise you might ruin your brow line by tweezing away hairs that should have stayed but were simply too long. Are your brows too pale, or are they speckled with gray? if they are, you might choose to have them tinted. titing will help define them and alleviate the need for eyebrow makeup. Tip: Take care not to overdo it, because sparse brows, especially on a mature face, make the face look older.

You can wax unwanted hairs, but be aware that the hairs may not grow back correctly because wax is pulled off in the opposite direction to the hairs' growth. Also, a warning: Waxing repeatedly may eventually give a crepe-like appearance to the skin.

Figure out which method works for you. There are three common methods for eyebrow maintenance. I ve tried all three, so I thought I d share my opinion on each in order to help you choose the right method for your own eyebrows. If you want to learn more about each one, as well as some pros and cons, read on: Waxing This is one of the most common methods of hair removal. If you re going to get your eyebrows waxed, make sure you go to a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist who is specifically trained in waxing or hair removal. This assures that you will be getting the best possible service with someone who knows how to work with your natural brow shape. Waxing is the fastest method of hair removal and can keep hair from growing back for two to six weeks. I personally don t find waxing painful, but I know that it can be for some. Another thing to keep in mind with this method is that wax can easily irritate sensitive skin and, if kept too hot, can also potentially burn your skin. Cost is also a factor to consider and can vary depending on where you live. Pros: Ease, Long-lasting Cons: Cost, Pain, Skin Irritation Threading Threading is a method of hair removal that originated in India, where as the name suggests a thin cotton thread is used to remove hair. The process is similar to tweezing, except multiple hairs can be removed at one time. If you re curious, you can check out a video about threading here. This is another method where you need to find someone who is a specifically trained practitioner. This is the most precise method of hair removal and will not irritate your skin. I did find threading to be slightly more painful than waxing, but it was worth it because my brows looked so great! Again, cost is a factor to consider and unlike waxing, threading is not as widely available across the country. Pros: Precision, Great for sensitive skin, Long-lasting Cons: Cost, Pain, Unavailability March 13 at 6:18pm Like

Eye Love Makeup Tweezing Tweezing is a great choice if you re looking to save money, but it may take some practice to become a pro. Plucking is virtually painless, albeit a bit time consuming, as you have to maintain the brows every few days. If you re going to tweeze, I recommend investing some money in a great pair of tweezers like Tweezerman. They may seem expensive, but highquality tweezers are more precise, which will give you a cleaner brow in less time. Pros: Inexpensive, Painless Cons: Time consuming, High maintenance March 13 at 6:18pm Like 1 person

Eye Love Makeup 2. Find your eyebrow shape. After you ve figured out your preferred method for eyebrow maintenance, now it s time to find your natural eyebrow shape. The above chart shows the five basic eyebrow shapes most people have naturally: Once you find your eyebrow shape, use it as a guide for maintaining your eyebrows. Once you find your eyebrow shape, use it as a guide for maintaining your eyebrows. The first step to having great brows is to follow your natural shape when you get your eyebrows groomed. Don t try and change your shape (i.e. flat to angled) because then your eyebrows can look strange and out of place. The next step is to find your natural arch, with the help of the diagram below:

B corresponds to where your natural arch is, while A and C refer to where your eyebrow should begin and end. Following this diagram is essential for well-maintained and natural brows.

Your brows are the framework foe your entire face and can be the key to getting your makeup look just right SHAPE 1. The inside edge of your brow should be parallel to the inner eye corner pluck or way away any stray hair 2. Find a flattering arch when your looking straight ahead the arch should be just past your iris 3. The edges should taper off just beyond the outer corner of your eye DEFINE 1. Darken and define sparse brows with a powder or pencil that matches the color of the hair there 2.Comb the hair up and outward this will blend the brow color and groom unruly hairs 3. Add a touch of shimmery white powder right underneath your arch to reflect light and show off the shape March 13 at 5:53pm Like

Eye Love Makeup Keep it natural! As I mentioned earlier, the key to having great eyebrows is to work with what you naturally have. That means following your basic shape and natural arch. Of course, accidents do happen, and if your eyebrows get too thin or over-plucked, don t underestimate the power of a great brow pencil or powder. They are also great products to own if you have naturally sparse or light-colored brows.

This is for all the people who were asking for a tutorial about eyebrow shaping and grooming. This method is great for flattering every face shape as it is based on the particular angles of your face. The diagram above is tutorial for this question March 13 at 6:15pm Like

Eye Love Makeup The only tools you need are a pair of tweezers/wax strips and a ruler or pencil. To determine where they should begin, arch, and end, you hold the pencil up to your face as a guideline and follow the lines. The purple line is where you would hold the pencil up to your face to see where your eyebrows should begin. You can either mark it with eyeliner or just eyeball it after you take away the pencil. If your eyebrows naturally extend beyond this line, you can pluck or wax those hairs away, but be careful to leave the top edge still slightly rounded as in the photo so it doesnt look unnatural. The blue line is where you hold the pencil to see where the arch should be placed. It does take some practice to shape them naturally especially if you have a lot of stray hairs/thick eyebrows like I do. Eyebrow stencils can be helpful for this so you can follow the shape as a guideline and just adjust the arch to where it needs to be, or you can have them

professionally waxed/threaded to shape them and then keep up on the maintenance yourself. The green line is where they should taper off. If your eyebrows extend past it you can pluck them but again be careful to leave a natural shape at the ends so it doesnt look like you went to town with the tweezers, which I have done on accident before several times ? Thickness is a personal choice so there's really no right or wrong answer.

Eyebrow Map A great tip for after you read these three steps if you are unsure of where to tweeze, is to get a white pencil and apply it to the area you want to tweeze so that you can clearly see the shape you are going to have.) 1. To find where your brow begins, hold a pencil very carefully vertically against the side of the nose. This should line up with the beginning of the eye, the eraser nearest the nostril and the point nearest the brow. Tweeze excess hair that extends beyond the pencil over toward the nose. Excess hair towards the nose tends to make your eyes look close together. 2. Now keep the eraser end in place and move the top point toward the temple stopping diagonally at the point above the outside edge of the iris of your eye. This is where the arch of your brow should begin. Being sure not to make the brows too thin, tweeze away excess hairs beneath the arch. 3. Once again keeping the eraser in place, move the pencil point to the outside corner of the eye. This is where you want your eyebrows to stop. Tweeze hairs that extend beyond the point where the pencil meets the brow. If your eyebrows grow past that point it tends to make your eyes go down. At this stopping point it helps to lift your eyes up. The same is for the arch. The arch helps to lift and open your eyes. March 13 at 7:19pm Like

Eye Love Makeup Not Sure How Much to Tweeze? Be sure to step back from your mirror and check your brows periodically. Tweeze a few hairs from one brow and then the other so they remain symmetrical. Remember that it's better to tweeze too little than too much. Do's and Don'ts * Do tweeze in the direction of hair growth. * Do open your pores with a hot washcloth to make tweezing easier. <

* Do use a make-up concealer to draw your desired brow shape, then tweeze the hairs that fall below the line. * Don't use creams or moisturizers that can cause the tweezer to slip. * Don't tweeze nose hairs or hairs growing out of moles.</ March 13 at 7:21pm Like

Eye Love Makeup Eyebrows: Care Tips on Tweezers Clean tweezers after each use. Disinfect tips of tweezers in alcohol. Protect the tips of tweezers with cap and keep in storage box or tube. Spring tension can be increased by gently pulling the two halves of the tweezer apart. Once you have increased the spring tension, you cannot decrease it. Never drop tweezers. Dropping will dull the tip and throw your tweezers out of alignment.

Tips for eyebrow tweezing / plucking: 1. Do not tweeze too much. 2. The hair can be softened first with a hair conditioner or shaving cream. 3. If your brows are making the slight arc then you have the best brow. 4. Do clean skin. Brush your brows up and out. 5. Use a good pair of tweezers to tweeze your brows. Use magnifying mirror and do the task in perfect bright light. 6. Eyebrows slanting upwards make you look angry, so be careful not to take off too much at the outer corners. 7. If you want both top and bottoms to be smooth as much as you can, you can pluck the top and the bottom. March 13 at 7:24pm Like

Eye Love Makeup 8. Do not over pluck your brows. Plucking with proper care and in limitations is as important as tweezing or plucking. 9. Once plucking is done, apply some good quality gel to remove redness etc. Applying gel will make your eyes calm and finish irritation due to tweezing or plucking.

Brows are back, and in a strong way! So you can give your tweezers a break and let your brows take center stage this Fall. Your brows are one of the most important features in shaping your overall look, and bold brows are an easy way to make a

high impact change to your normal look. How to: Following your natural eyebrow shape pluck any strays, and fill in sparse areas with a brow pencil or powder one shade lighter than your natural brow color. Pair with a nude or lightly contoured face for a subtle look, or red lips for a night out. Voila! Instant glam

How to shape your eyebrows Shaping your eyebrows can help your eyes look bigger and your features look more proportional. Even just plucking stray hairs can make you look neater and more polished. Trimming the edges can also make you look younger, since eyebrow hairs lose their pigments at the ends when they reach a certain length. It s best to have your eyebrows shaped by a professional, and then maintain the shape by removing stray or overgrown hairs. But you can also do this at home, using this simple guide and a few tools you already have. Tools You need scissors with a fine tip (like a mustache trimmer), tweezers, and a good mirror that you can prop on a table in a room with good lighting. You also need to comb your eyebrows before cutting. You can use an old mascara wand. Basic grooming If you are already happy with your basic eyebrow shape, you just need to clean up stray hairs and trim the edges. To do this, comb your eyebrow hair upwards, and then snip off any points that extend past the natural shape. Then, comb your eyebrow hair downwards, and trim off the excess again. There, you re done!

Eye Love Makeup Shaping eyebrows You can also shape the eyebrows. If you re doing it at home, you want to mimic a natural arch have any drastic changes (like a really thin brow) done at a reputable salon. To get the arch, take a pencil and position it against your nose, resting against your nose, the center of your mouth, and your tear duct. The tip of the pencil determines where your eyebrow should start. Pluck out any eyebrow hair beyond that point. Then, position the pencil diagonally. The eraser tip should be in the center of the mouth. Then, it should run against the nostril, and then the outer rim of your iris. The pencil point Is your natural arch, or the highest point of your eyebrow. To find the end of your eyebrow, position the pencil at the opposite corner of the mouth (so if you re tweezing the right eyebrow, put the pencil on the left corner). It should touch the nostril, and then the outside corner of the eye. You can make eyebrows look thicker by brushing them with a dark brown eyeshadow and a small brush. You can also use eyebrow pencil, but choose brown (not black!) to make it look more natural. If you have unruly eyebrows, groom them in place with clear mascara! Use an old mascara wand to remove excess mascara.

How to Shape Your Eyebrows Think of your eyes as pictures, and your eyebrows as the frames. If your eyebrows are not shaped properly, they can take away from the beauty of your eyes. Often clients have asked me, What is the proper shape for my eyebrows? Because each person has different shaped eyes, the shape of their eyebrows will vary. However, there is one similar and sure way to find the shape that s right for you. Here it is. Tools: *a mirror *eyebrow brush *a long pencil *a quality pair of tweezers *cotton balls *aloe vera gel March 13 at 6:24pm Like

Step 1 Take a look at your eyebrows in the mirror, then take your pencil and place it from edge of your nose to your eye area, as demonstrated above. Any hairs on the bridge of the nose after the pencil line should be tweezed out. Step 2 Now looking straight ahead, place your pencil from the tip of the nose to the natural arch of your eyebrow. Make sure that your pencil goes over the pupil of your eye, as this is the secret to finding your natural arch. You need to leave the hair line a bit thicker from the bridge of the nose to the arch. Tweeze up to the arch making as straight a line as you can. Step 3 Now take your pencil from your the edge of your nose to the end of your eye. Any hairs after the line of the pencil should be tweezed out. Tweeze a thinner line from the arch to the pencil. After you have finished shaping your brows, use a cotton ball soaked in some aloe vera gel and gently dab over the area to reduce any redness or irritation. Tips: *Once you get the proper shape for your brows, you should tweeze them at least once a week to remove any stray hairs to retain the shape. *You should never tweeze above your eyebrows, only below. *Use a brow powder and brow brush to fill in your brows.

Eye Love Makeup Eyebrows require regular care. In the evening, along

with cleaning your face, it is necessary to clean your eyebrows too because particles of dust settle on them. Eyebrow shape varies depending on the fashion: from dark and dense to as thin as a thread; from straight lines to abruptly curved. It is not necessary to follow fashion trends blindly. Eye Love Makeup The following eyebrows are suitable for many face types: In order to make small eyes look bigger, eyebrows are added, making them convex and wide, and the distance between them is increased, pulling hair out from the bridge of the nose. If the eyes are closely placed, the distance between the eyebrows should be increased. To look younger, it is necessary to increase the distance between the eyebrows, not reducing their width, and to create a graceful curve from the temples. For an oblong face, the straight, eyebrows with hair removed from the nose bridge are suitable. For a triangular face, eyebrows lifted upwards and rounded off are suitable, but straight ones are not recommended. For an oval face, arched brows are the most suitable. For a square face, long highly lifted eyebrows are suitable, slightly arched ones are also possible. Eye Love Makeup Caring for your eyebrows and eyelashes promote preservation of hair elasticity and stimulate its growth. The most suitable care products are those that contain nettle extract and castor oil. For beautiful eyebrows it s important to define their beginning and the end correctly. The eyebrow should begin directly above the internal corner of the eye. Hairs on the nose bridge are pulled out. For definition of the end of an eyebrow take a pencil and sweep it like a wing from the nose to an external corner of the eye. The end of the eyebrow should be where the pencil crosses with the eyebrow. The highest point of the eyebrow should be on a line going from the center of the upper lip through a pupil up to the eyebrow March 13 at 6:29pm Like

Eye Love Makeup A small brush for eyelashes, like a small toothbrush, is used for looking after eyebrows and eyelashes. Start at the center edge or the eyebrow and comb with rotary movements to the outer edge. It s useful to moisten a brush in castor or olive oil, in glycerin or another means for strengthening hair. This will make eyebrows dense, silky and will strengthen their roots. To thick eyebrows apply special gel. Those who have thin eyebrows can use the creams containing vitamins that promote the growth of hair March 13 at 6:30pm Like

Eye Love Makeup You can change the shape of your eyebrows by using a tweezers and a pencil. Before starting the procedure you should know the precise shape you want for your eyebrows; don t experiment. It is better to pull the eyebrows out in the evening, because they may be read after you ve plucked them Before plucking your eyebrows, wash your hands with soap, dry them and clean the tweezers with alcohol. Pull the skin around your eyebrows with your fingers. Hold the tweezers with the first, second and third fingers of the right hand. Grasp the hair at the root with the tweezers. Squeezing the tweezers together strongly, hold them at an acute angle to the surface of the skin and pull the hair out forcefully in the direction of its growth. First remove a little hair from one eyebrow, and then from the other and check the symmetry before you continue. The eyebrow should be narrowed towards the external end. After depilation, wipe the skin with alcohol and put some face lotion (cream). Clean the tweezers with alcohol too. Using a sharply grinded pencil, it is possible to correct the shape of your eyebrows. Before using the pencil, first clean and comb the eyebrows. Do not draw one straight line on the line of the eyebrow; from the inside out, draw fast short marks with the pencil, as though drawing hair. Move from the internal end of an eyebrow to external. Use the pencil to fill in different spaces or to extend a short eyebrow. To make your eyebrows look like they have more volume, use eye shadow or mascara instead of a pencil
