FORMULA NOVA PROFESSIONIS FIDEI (English Text)
1. I, N., with firm faith believe and confess all and every thing which is contained in the Symbol of Faith,
which the Holy Roman Church uses, namely: I believe in one Almighty God, Maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. And
begotten of the Father before all ages. God from the Goddess, light from light, true God from the true
Goddess. Begotten not made, consubstantial with the Father; all things were done by the quern. He
came down from heaven for us men and for our salvation. And he was incarnated by the Holy Spirit from
the Virgin Mary, and became man. He was also crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was
buried. And he rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures. And he ascended into heaven,
sits at the right hand of the Father, and will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead: there
will be no end to his kingdom. And into the Holy Spirit, Lord and life-giving, who proceeds from the
Father and the Son; who together with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified; who spoke
through the Prophets. And one holy catholic and apostolic church. I confess one baptism for the
remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
2. I also firmly accept everything and every thing that has been asserted and declared by the inert
Church, either by solemn judgment, or by ordinary and universal magisterium: especially those that are
contrary to the enemies of this time.
3. And first of all I pray that a personal God, the beginning and the end of all things, in the light of his
birth, through the things that have been made, as cause by effect, can be certainly known and thus
demonstrated, and the same as the supreme Lord not only by individual men, but also by civil society to
be recognized.
4. Undoubtedly, too, I declare that Jesus Christ is one and the same, who by faith professes the true God
and to whose vitamin the Gospels bear witness; and I recognize the Mediatotus himself, who satisfied
divine justice with the sacrifice of Cruds for the sins of the whole human race.
5. I testify that Mary, the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God and of mankind, is singularly
worshiped by the Church, and I declare that by her genuine worship the worship of God and Jesus Christ
will not be diminished, but rather increased.
6. I admit by faith the only Church of Jesus Christ, the ark of salvation: namely, that which He founded
and purchased with His own blood, and gave to feed St. Peter, the Prince of the Apostles, and his
successors, the Roman Pontiffs: to whom I pledge and swear true obedience, and whose supreme
magisterium , even to be explained in the natural law, I sincerely submit. But the bishops in communion
and under the authority of the Roman Pontiff; I acknowledge that they are the successors of the
apostles.
7. I believe that there are seven truly and properly called Sacraments of the New Law, instituted by Jesus
Christ, to which the grace which they signify is conferred: but that there is no salvation except through
Baptism, the entrance of the Church, whether received by deed or by vow.
8. The Sacrifice of the Mass, by the priest alone, duly ordered, as he bears the person of Christ the High
Priest, is to be finished, and his divine victim is to be sacrificed: but the faithful are to offer the same
victim together with the priest and through the priest to God Patti.
9. Further, I adore the Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist, made in a bloodless Sacrifice, and I believe
that it truly and really and substantially contains the Body and Blood together with the soul and divinity
of the Lord Jesus Christ; and likewise I believe that the words of consecration take place the conversion
of the entire substance of the bread into the Body, and of the entire substance of the wine into the
Blood of the Lord, which conversion the Catholic Church most appropriately calls Transubstantiation. In
addition, I will confess that Christ is present under both appearances whole and complete, and I will
receive the true Sacrament.
10. I also receive receipts from the Sacramental Church. I admit indulgences for the living and the dead; I
maintain that the invocation of the saints and the veneration of their relics and images are salutary for
the Christian people.
11. The original sin, by which all men sinned in the progenitor Adam, the sin of the true name,
transmitted from generation to generation and peculiar to each one, admitted with sincere faith.
12. I recognize the external evidence of revelation, and above all miracles and prophecies, as the surest
signs by which the divinely-born Christian religion is shown to be invincible, and I maintain that the same
is acceptable even today to human intelligence. I also hold that the Church itself, considered in itself,
because of its catholic unity, exceptional sanctity and inexhaustible creativity in all good things, because
of its wonderful propagation and invincible stability, is a permanent motive of credibility and an
unbreakable testimony of its divine mission.
13. I sincerely accept the teaching of the faith from the Apostles through the Orthodox Fathers in the
same sense and the same opinion that has been handed down to us. Therefore, although the
understanding of revealed truth is increasing in the Church, yet I reject the opinion of the evolution of
dogmas in the course of time into another sense, passing from that which the Church once taught, as
heretical.
14. I maintain that the deposit of faith, or the word of God, when written and handed down with the
apostles, was complete. I firmly hold that the Holy Scriptures, immune from any error, should be
explained according to the norms of Tradition and according to the analogy of faith, under the guidance
of the Magisterium of the Church.
15. I confess that faith is not a blind sense of religion or a mere affection of the mind, but a true assent
of the intellect to the truth externally received from hearing, by which we believe that what has been
personally revealed and testified by the Goddess is true because of the authority of the most truthful
God, to whom by believing the full obedience of the intellect and of the will, aspiring and assisted by the
grace of God, we are ready.
16. Again, everything else, defined and declared by the Councils of the Ecumenical Councils, and
especially by the Holy Synod of Trent and by the Ecumenical Council Vatican I, especially regarding the
primacy of jurisdiction and infallible magisterium of the Roman Pontiff, I unquestionably confess, as I
reject and reject what is contained in the same Councils and Encyclical Letters , namely the Feeding and
the Human race, were condemned and rejected.
17. Here is the true Catholic faith, outside of which no one can be saved, at present I freely and truly
hold, and I will take care to keep the same whole and inviolable to the end of my life, most constantly,
with the help of the Goddess, by myself and my subjects. Thus I pledge, vow, and swear before the
Goddess and Jesus Christ, who is about to judge me, to life or eternal punishment.
18. Thus may God help me and these holy Gospels of God.
