Squid Game Script

INTRO

First Scene: Room Third Floor

The door opens up (focus in the bottom part of the door and slowly move the camera upward),
two trainees entered a classroom and scratch their back and arms (trainees must look haggard
and extremely exhausted) (cinematic editing and videography is required)

Trainee 1: It’s so exhausting, bagsak na bagsak na katawan ko. Activities everywhere, but okay
ng bagsak ang katawan ‘wag lang ang grado baka makuha ni San Pedro Hahaha (wildly throw
herself in one of the chair and breathe heavily.)

Trainee 2: Sinabi mo pa! Few weeks but hell week agad! Puyat na puyat na ‘ko, ka-stress ‘tong
college ah, akala ko party everywhere. Wala bang refund, back-out na ko.

While talking, trainees have no idea they are being watched through a glass in the door.

Habang pababa sa hagdan ang trainees bigla nila makakasabay si instructor. 

Instructor 1 (Caramay) : Hmmm. It seems you're tired. Would you like to reduce your stress?
( Ibibigay yung card, focus ang camera sa card then slowly imomove sa reaction ng trainees)
(Then yung camera is nakatutok naman sa Instructor) Remember, take care of your body, it’s
only HOME you have. Doing something is better than doing nothing. You only get one chance to
make a decision. (smirk) 

Then mauuna na bumaba sa hagdan yung instructor, tapos yung trainees is babagal lakad nila
dahil bigla sila mapapa isip don sa sinabi ng instructor.

Second Scene: Stairs

Pababa sa hagdan yung student while holding a lot of books (at least 3?) then the books
suddenly fell on the floor. She was about to pick it up but she couldn't due to her back pain.

The trainor saw the student struggling to pick up the book from the floor so she helped her.

Instructor 1 (Caramay): *habang kinukuha yung book sa sahig and binibigay sa student yung
book* Ayan kasi, kulang na sa exercise! Join din sa mga recreational exercises and activities ha?
Trainee 3: *awkward smile* hehe thank you po ma’am!

Tumuloy na sa pagbaba ng hadgan yung trainor (naka focus sa kanya yung camera) then she
smirks. 

The camera then will focus on the book na may card na.

Third Scene: Library

(trainee 4 was busy scanning the books in the shelf, when she finally got the book that she
wanted, she went back to her seat, opened her bag to get her notes but stopped when she saw
a piece of card inside her bag, picked it up looking confused, and looked around the library,
eyes back on the card tas chineck yung likod ng card)

*camera moves, then focuses on trainee 5 na nag aayos na ng gamit planning to leave the
library. After packing up her bag, binuhat na nya yung books sa desk nya then stopped when
she noticed na may card na nakaipit sa pinaka ilalim ng book. Ibinaba nya muna yung books na
hawak nya then dinampot yung card (chineck yung harap at likod). Camera slowly zooming in to
the card, showing the 3 shapes.

(Trainee 5 walking out of the library, still checking the card)

Trainee 4: *called trainee 5 by their name*

T5 stopped walking, tumingin sa likod (pinapakita yung paglapit ni trainee 4 kay T5 while
holding her card

Trainee 4: Meron ka din? (while pointing at T5’s card)

Trainee 5: (Motioned /showing  her hand na may hawak ng card) Ang weird, bagong pakulo ba
to ng officers?

(Nang makalapit si T4 kay T5, they compared their card, showing two different set of numbers,
indicating the player’s number, looked at each other, suspense music playing at the bg emz) 

(One instructor sitting on one of the chairs sa labas ng lib, looking straight at T4 and T5)

Fourth Scene: Multi-purpose Hall

Three trainees are in the cleaning up drive at Multi-Purpose Hall or Gymnasium of Pamantasan
ng cabuyao (focus will be arranging the chair or nagwawalis ng kalat).

Upon cleaning, Trainee 6 found something sa ilalim ng chair. Dadahan siyang lumapit at kinuha
ito (focus on the trainee’s hand while reaching the paper). Pinagpagan at pinunas sa damit (act
like it is dirty or with little dust) Ano ‘to? Shapes and numbers, anong kalokohan ‘to? Baka
naman code ‘to

Trainee 7: naglilinis sa may stage ng may makitang card sa isa sa mga stair, unti-unting yumuko
at na-confuse kung anong gagawin sa card ng biglang may humablot nito

Trainee 6: Hala, same tayo! Baka project’to ng mga officers? Nalalapit na rin sport fest, this
sound thrilling!

Trainee 7: Tatanan mo nga yan pag-iisip mo ng kung ano-ano, baka kalat lang yan. Binibigyan
mo pa ng meaning, linis na ng matapos na ‘to

Trainee 6: KJ nito, baka naman kasi meron talagang meaning ‘to. Hindi ka ba nacucurious?

Trainee 7: Sige, ipilit mo pa. Curiosity killed the cat.

Habang nagtatalo ang dalawa ay biglang lalapit si Trainee 8 na maghawak-hawak na card

Trainee 8: Kayo din? What’s happening?

All of them look confused and look at each other, they put their card in the center (focus na ng
camera yung mga number cards).

FifthScene

Clip ng night to morning(kukuha na lang ng clip sa internet) , then insert clip ng venue mula taas
hanggang pababa. Next clip ay yung isa isang trainees na papasok sa venue, then after nila
makapasok lahat. Mag usap sila about sa nakuha nilang card after that tsaka magkakaroon ng
usok at magblablack out.

Pagbukas ng lights, naka uniform na, trainees regained consciousness, trainees slowly standing
up tas magpapagpag, tas may voice na magsasalita sa bg)
.

Voice: Welcome, Players.

Instructor 1 : You are all here to play a game. You have to dance… in order to survive.

(Ifflash sa screen or may magsasabi nito sa bg)

Recreational exercises involve combined physical movements to achieve greater flexibility,

Instructor 2: You will have to perform recreational exercises to save yourself, if you fail to do so,
you will be eliminated from the game. Goodluck, players!

OUTRO

Kapag malapit na mag-end yung song and step, unti-unti nang maeeliminate yung players.

Kada may magkakamali, may mag aannounce ng “PLAYER NUMBER ___ ELIMINATED” then the
player ay aalis na sa stage or sa dance floor.  

(Players number 01 and 06 ay magkakamali sa step)

Announcer: Players number 01 and 06 eliminated

(Player number 03 ay magkakamali sa step)

Announcer: Player number 03 eliminated

(Player number 02 ay magkakamali sa step)

Announcer: Player number 02 eliminated.

Only players number 04 and 05 will finish the whole dance or game.

Players number 04 and 05 will hug each other, laughing, jumping, then the two trainors will
approach them.

Trainor 1 and 2: Congratulations, you made it to the next round. *ibibigay yung card nila sa
dalawang player*

Player 04 and 05: *chineck yung card* (the camera will focus on the card showing the red tag
on it, the card is the identity of the instructors/trainers) *confused and they will look at each
other then to the trainers*

Trainor 1 and 2: Do you want to continue to the next challenge?
