     Mixing, Transportation, Placing, Compaction and Curing of Concrete
    2. Metals and Alloys:
     Composition & Manufacturing of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys
    3. Natural Stones, Bricks, Tiles and Ceramics:
     General Characteristics
     Varieties and Uses of Building Stones, Manufacture, Varieties
     Properties and Uses of Bricks, Tiles and Ceramics
    4. Protective Materials
     Material used for finishing and as protective layer such as paints and varnishes.
    5. Introduction to advanced construction methodologies and technologies:
     Methodologies for In-situ and pre-cast construction of buildings
     Planers and non-planer roofing systems, finish and water proofing
     Mechanized construction
     Design and use of farm work for various building units/members
     Methods of concreting
     Bonds in masonry work. Doors, windows, floors and roofs
