Computer Networks - ANU

This course provides an overview of computer networks and network protocols. It covers topics such as network architectures, signaling and modulation across physical media, internet protocols, routing, security, and application layer protocols. Students will learn the layered protocol model, analyze datalink, network and transport layer protocols, program network communication services, and design and analyze home, data center, IoT and LAN/WAN networks. The course is offered in-person in the first semester of 2023 by the ANU School of Computing and aims to provide students with an understanding of computer network fundamentals and the skills to work with network protocols and services.
