(𝑥, 𝑦) + (𝑥1, 𝑦2) = (3𝑦 + 3 𝑦1, −𝑥 − 𝑥1) 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑐(𝑥, 𝑦) = (3𝑐𝑦, −𝑐𝑥).
Verify that V, with these operations, is not a vector space over the field of real numbers.

Q is the field of rational numbers.
7) Show that the set {(2,-1,0),(3,5,1),(1,1,2)} forms a basis for V3(R).
