Education is a process that changes constantly, that is
why it is significant to study its history. You can comprehend the
history of education and how it progressed to the present by
studying the past. In this way, the future is illuminated while
also making the present more understandable.
Early Egyptian education was dominated by priests. On
the other hand, Early Hindu education has religion as their main
foundation for learning. Although their schooling wasn’t that
formal compared to the present, they are systematically
organized and disciplined.
Studying their education made me realized that they are
very different but at the same time similar to the present
education. They were more on imparting ethics, discipline and
skills with their students. Because of that, they made great
contributions to the world of education and those contributions
are still being use and adapted today.
