This first page is used to place the Assignment Number and Title of your Assessment.
(Delete when read - Note: the margins are set as per APA 7th ed. guidelines. If you are
submitting the assignment via hardcopy, your tutor may require 4cm left margin. Please see
your individual course outline for further details. The template spacing is 2 (double-spaced),
but you can use 1.5 spacing if that is your preference. This assists the marker to leave
appropriate feedback.
Assignment Number and Title 1
This Word file has been created in response to requests from students. The use of this
file is optional and students have the responsibility to check that their written assignments
comply with all academic conventions. The page layout and styles are structured to write

provide.
Heading Two
This template is a read only file. This means that when you write your assignment and
save, the file will request you to do a ‘Save As’ and create a new Word file. Make sure you
note where you save the file for future reference. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure
the most appropriate style is used in assignments. If necessary, discuss beforehand with the
Course Lecturer or Tutor about the requirements for setting out specific assignments.
