1. Preface.
1-1. Purpose of the Hot Water Boiler.
- In the galley, every time hot water is needed, this instrument is proper in that’s
circumstance and this instrument is used by coffee making, instant food, feeding
etc.
1-2. General notice.
- In order to obtain maximum benefit from using this Hot Water Boiler, inspect for
damage (i.e.: dent, loose, broken parts) during installing.
- User must be read this manual thoroughly, and obey contents of this manual.
- Maintenance procedure must be done periodically.
1-3. Caution & warning
- Hot Water Boiler must be operated, inspected, repaired by qualified staffs that
are familiar with the unit.
- Do not drop or strike parts & body of this equipment.
- Do not use chain or jag directly for lifting Hot Water Boiler.
1-3-1. Warning
- Please note that the manufacturers guarantee will be void if faults arise due to
the user’s non-correction dealing.
- Please note this safety feature will not operate until the boiler has cooled down
sufficiently.
- In the event of the boiler being accident allowed to boil dry, the boiler should be
allowed to cool down before refilling with water.
- The breaker on the right hand side of the boiler should be positioned “ON” to
bring the boiler into operation condition.
1-3-2. Safety
- It is dangerous to drape towels or tea cloths over the boiler obstructing the vent
hole in the boiler lid.
- Care should be taken when removing the lid to avoid possible injury from steam.
- All boilers are supplied complete with 15 ampere. Plugs and should be plugged
into a suitable 15 ampere.
- In the event of damage to the main lead, an authorized service agent should only
fit the supply cord.
- Water inlet and valve should be connected to a suitable cold water supply fitted
with an isolating stopcock.
- The appliance must be earthed.

- The installing thermo-control temperature centigrade range is 30-97 centigrade
degree.
- The Hot Water Boiler should be installed in dry place.
- In order to control valve conveniently, Hot Water Boiler must be installed at the
suitable height place.

4. Installation instruction
4-1. Introduce
- The boilers are intended for mounting directly on counter or bench top.
Alternatively they may be installed on wall, in that case, hot water boiler
must be installed with specially designed brackets (stand type)
- The boilers have an on/off switch with pilot lamp.
4-2. Installation
- The water boilers are delivered with a 1.5m electric cord.
- Connect it to a suitable electrical supply circuit with isolating switch and
according to ship’s code and earthen for connections with earth wires.
- Water inlet pipe and valve should be connected to a suitable cold water
supply fitted with an isolating stopcock.
- Secure the unit by fitting bed or similar as shown above for wall mounting.
- Set of wall brackets available as optional extra or yard order.

5. Operating instruction
1. First assuring that the draw off tap is in the “OFF” position.
2. Fill the boiler with cold water to the level, indicated on the front of the
boiler. DO NOT OVERFILL.
3. Turn the thermostat control knob in a clockwise direction to 97°C.
4. Turn on breaker “ON” position.
- The water boiler’s ideal water temperature to coffee or making tea is about
97°C.
- By means of the adjustable thermostat every temperature between 30-97°C
can be obtained.
- While “ON” positioning, the water supply must be cut off to prevent that
cold water comes into the boiler.
- By means of the gauge glass it is possible to know the quantity of water that
is drawn off.
- Always switch off when the water supply and electricity-circuit active. It is
possible to keep the water on a temperature of about 70°C during the night.
Take care that the water supply is cut-off.
z It has been to reset again by switch on/off, which is mounted under
earth the electric cable.
6. Maintenance
z The scale on the heating-element has to be removed regularly. Just
perform the next handlings:
- Cut off the water supply and empty the water boiler completely.
- Fill the water boiler with water by means of the main switch till all scale is
under water. Switch on the heating-element warm up the water to about
60°C.
- Add scale-remover (about 2-3 tablespoons per liter).
z Attention. : By adding scale-remover the contents will start to foam!!
- When the effect of the scale-remover has been ceased drain off the solution.
- If all scale has been removed rinse the water boiler thoroughly with clean
water.
