In that situation, everyone in this channel can see whatever you type on your keyboard. You
can also hold individual conversations with someone. Channels get live on different servers
around the world. Some servers have only few channels, while others have many of them.
First, you have to log on to server using client and then pick channel on which you want to
chat. They are sent to your server when you type words on your keyboard. Now your server is
part of global IRC server network. Your server sends your messages to other servers, which
in turn, sends your messages to people who are part of your channel.
They can then read and respond to your messages.
Explanation:
It is a popular chat service still in use today. IRC enables users to connect to a server using
a software program or web service and communicate with each other live.
For example, the Computer Hope chat room uses an IRC server to allow its users to talk
and ask computer questions live.
. To connect and chat with other IRC users, you must have an IRC client or a web interface
that connects you to IRC servers. There are many software IRC clients that enable users to
connect and communicate to other IRC servers. One example is the HydraIRC program.
HydraIRC.

Email messages are usually encoded in American Standard Code for Information Interchange text.
However, you can also send nontext files -- such as graphic images and sound files -- as attachments sent
in binary streams.

sa meeting announcements and minutes, at makadistribute po important forms at para na
rin po sa pagconduct ng survey within their workplace.
One of the biggest black clouds hanging over e-mail is spam. Though definitions vary, spam can be considered any
electronic junk mail (generally e-mail advertising for some product) that is sent out to thousands, if not millions, of
people. Often spam perpetrates the spread of e-mail Trojans and viruses. For this reason, it’s important to use an
updated anti-virus program, which will scan your incoming and outgoing e-mail for viruses.
Newsgroups enable remotely connected users to share, discuss and learn about their topic of interest by
exchanging text messages, images, videos and other forms of digital content .
Despite new technologies such as social media, newsgroups continue to thrive online.

referee para mapanatili na focused lang sa discusiion or topic at maiwasan ang misunderstanding o
gulo between the people in the forum.

Newsgroup is an online area in which users have written discussions about a particular subject. To
participate in a discussion, a user sends a message to the newsgroup, and other users in the
newsgroup read and reply to the message. Some newsgroups require you to enter a user name and
password to participate in the discussion. For example, a newsgroup for students taking a college
course may require a user name and password to access the newsgroup. This ensures that only
students in the course participate in the discussion. To participate in a newsgroup, typically you use a
program called a newsreader. A popular Web-based type of discussion group that does not require a
newsreader is a message board. Many Web sites use message boards instead of newsgroups because
they are easier to use.
Mailing List A mailing list, also called an e-mail list or distribution list, is a group of e-mail names
and addresses given a single name. When a message is sent to a mailing list, every person on the list
receives a copy of the message in his or her mail box. For example, your credit card company may
add you to its mailing list in order to send you special offers. To add your e-mail name and address to
a mailing list, you subscribe to it. To remove your name, you unsubscribe from the mailing list.
Thousands of mailing lists exist about a variety of topics in areas of entertainment, business,
computers, society, culture, health, recreation, and education.
Difference Between Mailing List and Newsgroup is that mailing list, also called an e-mail list or
distribution list, is a group of e-mail names and addresses given a single name. While Newsgroup is
an online area in which users have written discussions about a particular subject.
IRC (internet relay chat) is how people communicate via chat rooms. If you log onto an IRC server,
you can join different chat rooms and talk to people without needing to know who they are.
Internet relay chat is dependent on an internet connection whereas instant messaging doesn't require
an online service.
It doesn't support Facebook Chat, because Facebook uses MQTT and that's not IRC. In order to use
Facebook Chat through a pure-IRC client, you would need to install a gateway server which converts
between the two protocols
both methods of real-time communication; however, they are implemented differently. Instant
Messaging provides one-on-one communication with "accepted" individuals. To initiate an Instant
Message, one person needs to "invite" another. The recipient of the invitation needs to know—and
accept—the IM session based on the other user's screen name. IM clients allows you to have an
approved list of users, often called a Buddy List. If you want to communicate with more than one
person at a time, you can open additional IM windows. Each of these windows represents a two-
person communication. Internet Relay Chat, on the other hand, allows multiple people to interact.
Chat also provides a degree of anonymity. To start chatting, you establish a connection to a chat
server and join a discussion on a particular topic. When you join, you are said to “join a room.” In the
chat room, you typically create your own identity and can give as little information about yourself as
you choose. While the following discussion focuses primarily on IM, a brief hands-on lab with our
“model Internet cloud” will demonstrate the ease of IRC. IM requires a device providing services
that allows users to communicate. This device is referred to as the Instant Messenger Server. The
users on the end devices, such as a computer, use a piece of
