How to install the NC and the PLC

NOTE:
If you install the NC or the PLC by
next way, you should clear the NC
or the PLC in current CNC at first.
Before you install the NC or the
PLC, I advise you turn the S3
switch to “0” position and turn the
S4 switch to “2” position.
And turn the S4 switch back to
“0” position, after you finish
install the software.

Prepare a CF card and a


PCMCIA Adapter
Format the CF card by FAT
Copy the software files into CF card

Insert the CF card into the


PCMCIA Adapter
Power off the machine
Insert them into the PC CARD slot
that behind the operate panel
Power on the machine

Enter Siemens ISO interface
Push “Start Up“ soft key
Input password SUNRISE
Push “Machine data” soft key

Push ”Display MD” soft key


Set the parameter 9990=1

Push the “Logic drivers” soft key

Write “C:” under the Logic drivers
Write ”ATA” under the Line1
Write “CARD” under the Line2

Push the “Save” soft key

Push the “Services” soft key

Push the “Data in” soft key
Push the “More” soft key

Push this soft key

Select the files that you want to install

Push the “Start” to install the software.
