Terms & Conditions for Availing University Transport
1. Student must possess Identity Card and Bus Pass. He must show the same to the faculty in-charge / driver on demand.
2. Ragging and indecent behavior in the bus is strictly prohibited.
3. Arrival and departure time of the bus will be pre notified and it will not be changed according to the class schedule of
any particular program.
4. Student must be present at his/her respective bus stop on the scheduled time. Chasing or forcing the driver to stop the bus is not
permitted.
5. Use of loudspeakers, whistling, shouting etc. in the Bus is strictly prohibited. Earphones must be used for listening music in
Cellphones/iPads/iPods.
6. Student should not keep hands / any other parts of the body out of the bus window.
7. Arguing with faculty in-charge / driver may lead to the cancellation of transport facility. If there are any
suggestions/complaints, it must be sent in writing to the Student helpdesk.
8. While travelling in the bus, student is required to take care of his/her belongings. Student should not leave his/her belongings
(Bags, Books, drafters etc.) in the bus.
9. In case of breakdown of the bus, student must follow the instructions of the In charge/driver or should make his/her
own arrangement, if alternative arrangement is not provided.
10. During the examination students should strictly adhere to bus timings, otherwise student will have to make his/her own
arrangement to reach the examination Centre.
11. Bus charges cannot be paid in instalments and must be paid in single instalment before availing the bus facility.
12. Once Bus Facility is opted and charges are paid no amount will be refunded back to the student. Cancellation of bus facility is not
possible at any point of time.
13. Bus charges depends on escalation of various factors which are not in the control of Management and therefore Management
reserves all the rights to revise the Bus facility charges at any point of time.
14. Availing Bus Facility on monthly basis is not permissible.
15. Management reserves the rights to reject an application for bus facility on the basis of no availability of minimum number of
students, availability of the bus running on a route, pick up point not on the route, etc.
16. Management will expel / stop the student from availing the bus facility at any point of time without refunding any bus charges &
without any notice period in the following cases:-
a) Mis-behaving with staff / driver / conductor in the bus.
b) Any kind of act which amounts to Ragging as per UGC and AICTE definitions.
c) Causing any kind of harm / damage to the bus / students / staff.
d) Causing any kind of disturbance to other students sitting in the bus.
17. Management reserves the right to change the Bus route or withdraw the Transport Facility at any time, without any
prior notice/reason.
18. Students will have to board & deboard the bus at pre decided point. Based on the feasibility of various factors management
reserves the right to change pre decided boarding point.
19. No refund shall be made if a student does not board the bus for reasons whatsoever.
20. The Bus pass must be used only by the student to whom it is issued.
21. No student should board the University Bus, if Bus Pass has not been issued to him/her.
22. In case of loss of bus pass it should be immediately reported to the In-charge Transport on Student’s Helpdesk. INR 100/- will be
charged for reissuing of Bus Pass.
23. The Management may make the submission of any certificate or document of the students mandatory before /at the time
of allotment of transport facility/ afterwards.
24. The Transport & Bus fees shall be charged on annual basis and shall not be refunded even on Pro-Rata basis.
