John 1:18
Perceive and see in this context in Greek is the same thing for this verse

It is not possible to know God fully and have a relationship with him unless
thorough Jesus CHrist the Son who declared him.

Again Hebrews 11:24-28

Moses enduring for the sake of the Messiah and refusing to be called the son of
Pharoah's daughter!
For the sake of seeing HIM who is invisible i.e. God through Jesus (John 1:18)

NIV -
Hebrews 11:26-27
Moses regarded disgrace as the sake of Christ asthe greater value
than the treasures of Egypt since he was looking for the greater reward

IN 11:27, He saw HIM who was invisible - again echo to 1:18

So definitely Moses saw the Son, not the Father!

John 1:18 - does not say you cannot see the Father and only see the Son.
What it says is the only way you can see the Father and know the Father
is when the Son reveals him to you! So the Son has to be there allowing you
by the Spirit to see the Father and to know Him!
So Jesus must have been there with the SPirit revelaing the God-head to
Moses to see the God-head visibly.

Moses saw Jesus the Son and He in turn allowed Moses to see the One who
is Invisible

Article that goes with it - Sam to put that

Numbers 12: 5-8

Miriam getting cursed

John 6:45
It is written in the prophets, 'AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT BY GOD.'
Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

John 6:46
Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God;
He has seen the Father.

Exodus 13: 21-22

Exo 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to
lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light,
so as to go by day and night.
He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire
by night from before the people.

Deut 32:4
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

God is the ROCK who was with Israel during the time of Moses.
He is the ROCK who led them, followed them, fed them, nursed them,
sustained them and rebuked them for their sins.

Duet 32: 15-30

1 Corinthians 10:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our
fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea,
all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,
all ate the same spiritual food,
and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that
spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.
BAM!!

In Jehovah's witness Bible

1 Corinthians 10:1-4 also confirms it "...that rock meant the CHrist"
Even thought the words "meant" wasn't in the Greek they still could not
butcher it completely

Duet 32: 15-18 in Jehovah's winess Bible

Deu 32:16 They incited him to fury with foreign gods;
They were offending him with detestable things.
Deu 32:17 They were sacrificing to demons, not to God,
To gods that they had not known, New ones that came along recently,
To gods that your forefathers did not know.
Deu 32:18 You forgot the Rock who fathered you,
And you did not remember the God who gave birth to you.

1 Corinthians 10:14-22 in Jehovah's witness Bible

Don't provoke Jesus again by sacrificing to demons like the Israelites

who provoked him in OT Duet 32:16-17

1 Corinthians 10:6
1 Corinthians 10:11
In the above verses Paul warns us by quoting the examples of ancient
Israel's idolatry as a warning to the Church

Numbers 21: 4-9:

The bronze serpent

John 3:14 - The Son of Man must be lifted up....

The cause of their death the Serpent/Sin was nailed or impaled on the
Pole/Cross as the picture of Christ

1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree,
that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose
stripes you were healed.

Jesus told Moses to make a Bronze serpent that would foreshadow him
on the Cross burying human venom i.e. sin on it and killing it on the cross.

Final example in video
Jude 1:4-5
Jud 1:4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out
for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into
lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jud 1:5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those
who did not believe.

IN Greek there are 2 words for Lord - Despotes and Kyrios (Kurios)

In Jude 1:4 - the word Lord God is "Despotes" in Greek

but again in Jude 1:4 Lord Jesus Christ is "Kyrios" in Greek
In Greek it would mean, "Only Despotes = Lord God and Kyrios = Jesus Christ"

......και τον μονον δεσποτην θεον και κυριον ημων ιησουν χριστον αρνουμενοι
"Granville Sharp COnstruction" Question asked by admin -
Sam to do a future session

Jude 1:5 - "Lord" here means Kyrios i.e. Jesus Christ

The earliest Greek copies/witnesses of Jude except one, even Marcion (but forget
about him)

With the exception of the oldest copy:

IN the ESV it reads "Jesus" in Jude 1:5
Jude 1:5 ESV - Jud 1:5 Now I want to remind you, although yo24 tc ‡

Woww!!
Again see Sam's link

About the earliest reading not having the word:

The reading ᾿Ιησοῦς (Ihsous, “Jesus”) is deemed too hard by several scholars,
since it involves the notion of Jesus acting in the early history of the nation
Israel.u once fully knew it,
that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

However, not only does this reading enjoy

THE STRONGEST SUPPORT FROM A VARIETY OF EARLY WITNESSES

(e.g., A B 33 81 1241 1739 1881 2344 pc vg co Or1739mg), but the plethora

of variants demonstrate that scribes were uncomfortable with it,

P72 - oldest known copy of Jude does not have it

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papyrus_72
Dated 250-350 (3rd or 4th century)
Most scholars say 200s

"But I want to remind you about what you have always known, namely,
that the GOD CHRIST (or God, who is Christ [Theos Christos]),
saved people out of Egypt, but then he destroyed those who did not believe."

The oldest copy of Jude therefore, reads the "God Christ"

Note - "Many texts, especially of the Byzantine type, have "Lord" here,
and a few have “Christ God,” but the best textual evidence favors "Jesus."
The majority Byzantine texts favor "the Lord" in Jude 1:5
But earliest texts favor "Jesus i.e. Christ God"
According to textual criticism, the earlier manuscript texts are more reliable

But all 3 variants mean the same thing

But why different readings although they say the same thing?
Beauty and Glory of God to preserve the Bible
The very fact we have different reading which agree on the same thing
is that no committee was responsible for signing all this.

So since Biblical manuscripts were being widely distributed, it was impossible

for any individual to gather them altogether and corrupt and change them in
any way.

The fact that one group of witnesses read this way and another reads another way
is proof enough that no one group could corrupt what they originally said.

The variant readings are testimony to the preservation of the Bible

Because these readings are there then one of them is the original, its not lost.
The original is still there!
The variant readins help us detect the original.

The variant readings were permitted by God to help them understand who the
person was who led them out of Egypt.
The majority text ie the Byzantine text or the Ecclesiastical text
which go later in time i.e what the Orthodox CHurch follows.

Some scribes wanted to make explicit what was implicit in earlier texts
So the word "Lord" there had to be "Jesus" and so they set this to
write "Jesus" so that people can see that "Lord" happens to be "Jesus"
So the scribes wanted to make clear in context who the Lord is in ealrier texts.
But in the later Byzantine texts two words for "Lord" are used "Despotes"
and "Kyrios" and "Lord Jesus" is "Kyrios" in verse 5.
In English, you won't be able to tell

So Jude 1:5 originally read "Jesus"

So why the change, perhaps the scribe was baffled by the word "Jesus"
since "Jesus" was there but the name was not given to him yet "Jesus".
So that scribe would have decided to call him "Lord=Kyrios" in his pre-incarnate
form and not "Jesus"

All readings indicate the wisdom of GOd, the mind of God in allowing these
different readings.

THIS IS THE DEPTH, THE BEAUTY AND SUPERNATURAL CONSISTENCY OF THE BIBLE

Revised Standard Version reads differenty? - NO reading Jude 1:5 in context

again says "Jesus"

Jude 1:4-5
Jud 1:4 For admission has been secretly gained by some who long ago were
designated for this condemnation, ungodly persons who pervert the race of
our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Jud 1:5 Now I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully
informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT - JESUS WAS ALWAYS SHOWING UP IN OT ERA
WITH THE FATHER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

=============================================================================
Answering Acts 2:22 - Objection used by anti-trinitarians
"A man chosen by God..."

"Act 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth,

a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which
God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—"

Peter was preaching to a group of Jews who don't believe Jesus

the Messiah, let alone God and they say him killed 50 days earlier!

So he can't start off the converstaion that way!

So learn from Peter how to preach, how not to preach
So Peter sarted talking on things they can agree on - he is a man,
he did miracles and then he build his way up to say he is God (the author of life)!

Acts 2:23-28 - Peter's build up i.e. the a aprt they did not see i.e.
Jesus' resurrection by quoting David's prophecy in Psalm 16:8-11.

Acts 2:29-32:
Act 2:29 "Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David,
that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Act 2:30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an
oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh,
He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

Acts 2:31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ,
that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.

Acts 2:32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

THey had to Quote David since they were Jews and they knew David was a prophet
who wrote scripture to explain what they did not see

Acts 2:37 - Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and
said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

Acts 2: 1-4 (The Pentecost descent of the Spirit)

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with
one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind,
and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire,
and one sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Spirit manifested in visible shape as "Tongues of Fire" this time.

In Jesus' baptism, it was a "Dove".
So the SPirit came visibly and can be heard audibly.

In the above passage, the Spirit only filled the disciples of Jesus.
Not the Pharisees, the Saducees, the Essenes and their disciples nor
the disciples of John the Baptist
Read Acts 2:5-14:
Them speaking in own unique dialects - how is this possible? How?

What Peter does:

Acts 2:16-21 - Peter talks about Joel and saying that we are fulfilling
Joel's prophecy

So Peter explains we are able to speak in different dialects miracoulosuly

by filling of the Holy Spirit and fulfiling the prophecy
God in heaven will pour the Spirit on his sevants and those who call on the
Name of the Lord, Jehovah will be saved

If Jesus was a false Messiah then why did God pour out His Spirit on Jesus'
disciples i.e. Jesus' servants [Joel quotes "My male and female slaves/servants!"]
So we the disciple of Jesus are the True servants of the Living God

So that's why in Acts 2:37 they were cut to the heart and they could not deny it
They were convicted by the Holy Spirit.

So how does this prove Jesus is God?

In Acts 2:16 Joel says God pours out His Spirit...
Acts 2:17,18 21 - Joel says it is to call out the name of the
Lord Jehovah to be saved

Acts 2:32-33 - In 33 Jesus was the one who took the SPirit from the Father
and then He took it from the Father and poured out on his followers
Peter interpreted that as the Father and the Son as the God of Joel

THen read on

Acts 2:37-38:
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart,
and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we
do?"

hen Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit.

SO Joel's prophecy says I got to call the name of the LORD to be saved.
BUt you are telling me to get baptized in the name of Jesus, repent and
be forgiven and receive the Holy Spirit - and be saved

So Peter went from what they could accept and agree on and then made the
conclusion that Jesus is God! AMEN! AHAMDUMASIH! ALLELUIA!

So call on Jesus who with the Father is the God Jehovah, who becam flesh,
became man, died, raised up and went to heaven and exists with the Father
as the God-Man!

All the Jews heard them perfectly in their own language

So the Holy Spirit is Omniscient and Omnipotent to do all this!
I.e speak a language perfectly, make people understan perfectly
and Omnipresent to fill a group with His presence perfectly!
THerefore the deity of the Holy SPirit - The Trinity, proved!

@Jason Bourne Numbers 12:5 - Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud;
he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam.
When the two of them stepped forward

@Jason Bourne - 12:6 - God said, “Listen to my words:

“When there is a prophet among you,

I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions,
I speak to them in dreams."

@Jason Bourne - 12:7 - But this is not true of my servant Moses;

he is faithful in all my house.

@Jason Bourne - 12:8 - With him I speak face to face,

clearly and not in riddles;
he sees the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?
